You can really tell Caleb had a big part in this band's composition, I'm hearing elements of Attack Attack, Beartooth, and Woe Is Me in this. And it's pretty fucking amazing
I will always appreciate the progression of music. That doesn't mean everything is acceptable. Especially when individuals try to pull on a style and apply "queefs".
*New favourite band* Seriously, I'm in love with Jayden's vocals. Plus the overall energy and heaviness from the band in general. It's like a mix of Linkin Park, KoRn and Emmure. Keep up the good work, and come to Sweden sometime soon!
LOVE these guys. Im from NY as well! each record these guys just get better and better without sacrificing what makes them sylar. Cant wait for the new record.
how come I have never heard of these, lately I've been finding a new band everyday, all these amazing but unrecognized artists just waiting to be found,
Because Rise shat all over us with their Sleeping With Sirens bullshit constantly, and now they left Rise so some other bands can finally be seen. Was so sick to death of the over advertisement and ram it down your throat-ness that Rise did with them haha, found so many good new bands since they signed to Epitaph
Kyle Carr They used to be my favourite band haha, but they just way too over advertised by rise, and all i could ever find no matter what i searched for was them, especially in rise. And IMO they're a pretty shit band now, pop punk rock is way too overdone these days
Darkest Before Dawn Parkway drive is the epitome of metalcore. The reasons being that they play guitar in drop tuning, play melodic riffs, breakdowns, have a fast bpm with plenty of double bass drum, blast beats, and have screams and growls. That's as metalcore as you can get. And obviously its heavy metal (This is heavy metal) for the fact that heavy metal have a plethora of sub genres. If it were a hardcore punk there would be a lesser emphasis on breakdowns, little melody, etc. I'm not sure you are familiar with the many bands under metalcore that follow this very formula. In fact, this is far more post-hardcore than PKWY dr

xScreamFreakx I kinda see where he's coming from.. if you listen to the song closely you can hear some hiphop influence.. but that guy is stupid it sounds dope.
While I'll say I'm not a huge fan of Sylar, I won't talk dirt about them, which is why I respect what Alex Magnaus said, because it was simple and not digging in. The only thing I'm confused about is why a lot of people keep telling me "Have you heard Sylar? Their such a sick new Hardcore band!" Sorry to the fans, but it isn't Hardcore, not even close. Other than that, I can dig listening to a song or two every once in a while. Not bad.
look at the band members they're swagfags bro of course they incorporate hip hop influences. ive been waiting for some shit like this to pop off metalheads arent only emo and hardcore kids i wear jordans biiiiiitchh
