Their ultimate? It belongs to you now. Witness how Sylas seizes the enemy’s power. Sylas Reveal: na.leagueoflegends.com/en/fea... Sylas Champion Trailer: • Sylas: The Unshackled ...
everyone doing these "Zoe steals summoner spells and items, neeko copies you, sylas steals your ultimate " but everyone forgot: Tahm Kench: LITERALLY steals you
*_9.3: Ult no longer steals ults. Now provides an empowered 3rd auto attack whenever in combat, and an additional 5 ms when hitting an enemy champion._*
@DragonKoal that champion have an awkward fight concept... its not because of mindset, its a little stupid, and i dont want to face a champion like that, you never know what to expect. Nothing against him, but i will also ban it most times probably.
@DragonKoal while i would normally agree. Some of riots last re works and champions have been completely broken and op. Honestly think Sylas is one of those champs. His toolkit just seems so overpowered compared to 80% of the champs out there.
RIOT in a few weeks: *_So unfortunately we had to decrease the healing of Sylas W a bit because it was way too powerful early on in almost every trade. We also had to increase the cooldown of his ultimate due to how much of an impact it has on the whole map depending on which ult Sylas steal. We also nerfed the scalling of his E shield_* _-But don't worry we are not going to give him the azir the azir treatment!-_
Me an intellectual: Yes, my fine sire. After an astonishing time, we now have equality inside a game which we all hate and despise. Sylas: Please use your hand to perform an action as known as holding my beer, by grabbling my bottle of fermented beverage with your hands and cup your hands around the bottle to resist the gravity pulling down my beverage.
> "A prisoner turned *revolutionary* > "Hijack ultimates to help your *comrades* " > "what is yours. *It's mine* " *Riot you knew what you were doing, didn't you*
I mean.... he's literally wearing chains and says it's "redistribution" when he steals an ult. He's pretty clearly based on socialists and it couldn't be more obvious.
Sylas 2 months from now. *Riot:* "He is a bit strong so we are removing the shield on his E, The slow on his Q and his passive damage will be removed to only give movement speed." "Oh we are also tripling the Ult cooldown and reworking his entire W but don't worry! It will work the same just different" Queue: *Illaoi, Rek'Sa, Kindred, Irelia, Akali, Ornn, Aurelion, Azir music.* "Welcome to the club!"
Uhhh illaoi akali and irelia are all still VERY strong in their own rights, I agree azir was over nerfed and it makes me sad because he's so unique and yelling SHURIMA at literally any problem is a fun way to deal with it. But idek what you mean by kindred or reksai, these two were trash on release, the only reason people had success with them is because they were wild cards, no one knew what they were capable of then, aurellian was always trash and still is, and then there's ornn, poor poor ornn can't have an ability on a 9 second cooldown that not only shields him but makes him invulrable to cc... I loved playing ornn on release and he's probably the closest thing I have to a main (fill for life) but even I recognize that he was busted on release day.
@@angelofrngesus8618 You're crazy if you don't remember the days kindred and rek'sai was strong. Kindred got numerous amount of nerfs and a rework after that. Also Sol wasn't trash either.
I mean he is a bruiser so he does need some form of sustain and the ability is just like Tahm's second health except it's a heal and not a shield. It also means it's probably better to poke him down and force him to use the heal effect instead of the execution effect making him lose a good portion of his damage.
How to add champs to game: Lets take one ability from old characters and find 3 more Lets take two ability from old characters and find 2 more Lets take tree ability from old characters and find 1 more Lets take all ultimates from old characters and add them to that one
Does riot genuinely think it's gonna be fun to play against someone with a stun, execute, heal, Shield, dash attack. Jesus Christ riot you don't have to overload every new champ with Everything.
The good old Rito business trick: New OP champ that will be banned on every game but they will be giving him skins to make more money out of it; then nerf to the ground (aka unplayable) and buff again whenever a new skin is planned to come up. Not a complain just an observation of historcal events. Is Ornn getting a new skin?
Another champ with a new mechanic that could break the game and an overloaded kit ! They will let him in op state for few patches then give him the irelia treatement to make him weak and unplayable ! But before that they will try to release a skin or 2 for this champ xD
@@speararmada716 If by copy you mean their ULTIMATES are similar, sure. There are numerous identical ultimates between the two games. In fact, all throughout these moba games you'll be hard pressed not to find similar ultimates, let alone spells. At least riot gave the champ his own identity, even if a similar MECHANIC.
Lawson Marks People are still learning to play and play against him, but he IS around 30% winrate rn. I wonder if he will actually get nerfed... would need his winrate to rise quite a lot first
Cliché the Cat No. The ult steal has a 15s base cooldown at rank 3. The per-target base cooldown is 200% of the target’s base ult cooldown, minimum 20s
We went through this phase of champions who 'transformed' to modify their abilities but apparently that got old and now the spells are soo ott versatile they include a tooltip two whole paragraphs long of additional casts and inverse effects. Its a pattern of design Riots been following ever since the release of Camille.
People might not know this reference, but he reminds me of Basko from Dawngate. Basko was actually inspired by Kratos heavily. Plus when EA canned Dawngate and it's developer Waystone, Riot, as I understand it, acquired members of the team. Riot, at the time, had even stated that they were sad to see Waystone and Dawngate go, because they believed healthy MOBA competition was important for proper growth within the genre and Dawngate had created some unique systems and was about to overhaul the game into a revolutionary direction for MOBAs at the time.
Man i didnt play league when sylas first game out and i semi main him now, but jesus how can anyone complain about sylas when this monster existed, his petricite bursts used to be half the lane, he got a shield on his E and his Q slowed. I think hes fairly balanced now compared to then
his mana at lv. 1 is 280, with the cost of every ability being 50 or over every time you rank-up unless you have a mana item(dark seal) which gives you 100 more mana but even then your still gonna have a high mana cost on all abilities because EVERY SINGLE ONE of his abilities goes up in mana cost every one of which he can use for farming(q being the main farming tool, w and e being finishers to low health minions, if passive didn't finish them, especially cannon), his w has a fairly high cooldown which means punishment is very possible heck the range isn't even that big which basically means that he needs to use his e to gap close in order to get closer to use his w which is a very easily to predict e because the first dash gives you a shield and the second dash almost stunts you in place to use it if you haven't noticed. the big part of his ult and the problem with his ult is that you gotta know how to land that ult, when to use it, how to use it, etc. take bard ult, a bard ult can be a game changer of either team, in a good or a bad way, it could be the ult that puts the game in your favor or throws your rhythm off, or heck in the case of sylas not do anything, so lets say sylas ults bard and bard ults sylas, and they got each other that does nothing because now its a 4 vs. 4, now i know that sylas can dodge bard ult with his e and that's part of the "wins with brains". this champion has loads of skill, i don't know what you're talking about.
Neeko: steals your appearance Zoe: steals your summoner spells Sylas: steals your ult Viego: steals your kit Next champ: steals you entirely removing you from the game
Champion spotlights went from showing two skins, preferred build (and why), multiple gameplay views....to now just showing the abilities, giving two examples, and then "thanks for watching the champion spotlight"
Builds change more often than abilities + you still have recommended build in game. But I agree it seems to have less content. Probably needed more room for puns.
I remember when they first revealed this and showed his W. Seeing his health go from a quarter to just under three fourths made me think this was actually a joke. Click to win. XD
