Honestly the latest three songs and Hollow is the Crown are such an incredible new direction. Perfect blend of older Sylosis with some more modern metal texture.

Sylosis are easily my favourite metal band, no one else can give the same vibe that I crave. Dark, heavy, groovy energy. Hits every time man. Love this, love the evolution. You’re a genius Josh.

I'm glad to hear Josh singing more cleans; I've always liked his voice! I think they're taking some pretty ballsy risks with this album, but it still sounds like Sylosis. This song was frickin' sick!

Between the vocals and the BADASS riffs, i can never dislike this band. The guitar work is LOVELY 🌹 THE VOCALS are HEAVENLY ❤

This is top notch. I will forever treasure Monolith and Edge of the Earth era Sylosis, but this new sound is really getting good too.

Saying that i'm waiting for this album is an absolute understatement.

I think this chrous (1:27) is the best representation of Josh's statement in a recent interview where his producer wanted him to create more memorable moments which were lacking in CoS. Personally I prefer the faster and thrashier sound of EotE and Monolith but this chorus has huge potential to become an iconic moment in metal.

Best metal band on the planet right now!

It took me a couple listens but now these song are firmly lodged in my head! I love the throwback 80 thrash, standard tuning thing... so refereshing. I can see Josh's time in Architects helped in terms of songwriting chops. I think going out on his own was a solid move!

I love how these guys always stay true to their sound. All the while evolving, and improving every aspect of their production. I have not looked forward to an albums release so hard in my life.

Listened to the track afew times now and everytime i listen i like it abit more, definetly seems like more of a grower track than the immediacy of deadwood and poison for the lost. Good grooves, strong chorus and nice tasteful leadwork, it will be interesting to hear how this works in the context of the rest of the album.

I'm new to Sylosis, big fan of Josh, and my god his lows at 1:50 are something he needs to be incorporating WAY more often.

First let me say, this is the best metal band on the planet. They do NO wrong. I like all the new songs a lot....but I see a lotta comments about masterpiece this and that. Guys, are we just gonna pretend that Cycle of Suffering didnt come out in the middle of a global pandemic and the thing is a front to back BANGER!? Isnt THAT record their masterpiece?? The culmination of everything theyve ever done? For my money, its gonna be difficult to duplicate that album. Having said that, theyre my favorite band - Josh is a genius - Ali is a drum machine - and Ill be a first day buyer of ASOTTC!

I'm a fan. Can't say I was into "poison for the lost" or "deadwood," but this? This is killer. The main riff is a bit Deathy and I dig that, because that's a prevailing reason I've continued to enjoy Sylosis for so long. They are true to the formula. Well done, gentlemen.
