HE LOOKS SO COOL HOLY SHIT! The inner edgelord in me is totally satisfied with demonic plant wolf, and his playstyle is giving me vibes of Venom in the MvC series. Love it! Love it love it love it!
Slightly relevant but a few of orcane's aerials were taken from ivy (u/dair) and dan specifically said he really likes how ivy plays...so i guess it makes sense.

I mean it seems similar to Etalus but it seems Sylvanos uses the ground cover VERY differently. There's only so many ways you can leave a marker on the stage, and having a character use overgrowth as a stage control theme is pretty solid design imo

Also, this is one of the best trailers I've seen so far. 1. The voicing is good and the story panel is also AWESOME. 2. The gameplay of Sylvanos was lit because of the cool combos and mechanics shown. 3. I give it 10/10

Every aspect of this blows me away. I absolutely love his design, aesthetics, crazy moves, and this story with the animation and voice acting was cool!

This character will straight up make the devs add a shield mechanic simply because of how he can basically create hitboxes on the ground and launch you from basically any location.
This is another reason, I love Rivals SO MUCH, not only the game is fast paced, variable, has more modes, but the game has LOTS of LORE and the characters' origin story is cool, interesting, and of course............ lore.
Xekon Waldläufer You clearly misunderstood. Orcane is Water, Kragg is Earth, Zetterburn is Fire, Wrastor is Wind. Etalus is Ice, Maypul is Nature, Forsburn is Smoke, Absa is Electricity. Clairen is Plasma, Ranno is Poison, Ori is Magic. But the new one is also Nature. Only thing that's different about him is he's a legendary being that is a wolf made up of plants, rather than an actual animal. Yes, I admit my joke was dumb, and that the "Nature" I'm refering to is a form of Earth, so I apologize.
So, uh, I love this character. Might become my new main with some practice, but who's that character at the end? Nobody saw it but me? Is it the bowser jr. snake?
5 years later still my favorite character even added. I hope he makes it into rivals 2 in the first round of dlc(because i doubt he'll be on the launch roaster sadly by my guess of 2 slots per element)

so amazing, by far the coolest character with the most detail so far. other characters are gunna need some updates i think to even remotely compare to this. so pumped to play this guy
Ooohhh, I bet that thing at the end is the “unlikely ally” mentioned in the clarion trailer. It looked like a rabbit or something in the Clairen trailer plus it looks like a small animal or something riding a mech. And you know, it must know a bit about technology since it did the time travel thing in the Clairen’s trailer and she’s riding a mech that she most likely built.
Super excited. Not exactly the type of character I like, but until I actually get my hands on it I won't know. I've loved every character so far so I can't wait to see if this one surprises me too
If Corrin was a giant wolf that had Zero Suit's paralyzer, Mewtwo's tail, and even larger smash attacks. Also can turn the ground into a combo starter/breaker as well as give him a recovery option. The hell did I just type
Now we wait for Alphas video showing off how op and skilled he is with this new character prompting me to now go out of my way and get my hands on the character. Cool
