I can't believe more people aren't talking about this game! I finished a playthrough recently and it's fantastic as a fan of FFT. Nice concise review I like your style

This is definitely underrated - its only been 2 months and the dev team has already implemented a ton of improvements and changes despite it already being a fun game! Glad you enjoyed the video!

Thank God! I've been through 4 other review videos of this game that waffle on about the graphics or beg for subs and don't tell me anything, and in under the first minute you have told me more about this game than those 4 combined! I wish this had been the top recommended video, would have saved me a bunch of hassle! Picking this up and dropping a sub, thanks!

Why do you mention the graphics as downside multiple times? These are some of the best pixel art graphics we've seen in that kind of games.

I guess the pixel art is 'well executed' but its art style definitely doesn't stand out like some other games like Disco Elysium, or even Songs Of Conquest's pixel style; especially with the advent of RPGmaker games in recent years. That said, its definitely not a downside - and the gameplay and story are what's actually great about this game!

The pixel art actually grew on me too; but some players might find it a little dated though

I think I like this game more then dark deity. The only problem with this game I have is some tier 4 class is much harder to class into then other.

I never tried Dark Deity; but if you're referring to the late game classes feeling slightly imbalanced - I agree!

is there a skirmish mode or map editor? or can i just replay the campaign all over again until i drop it?

You can replay the campaign multiple times, and in multiple ways (different branches, outcomes etc.) Sandbox / skirmish mode and the map editor has been announced and is in the works; but unfortunately we'd have to wait until the end of this month / early next month to see it in the main build of the game!

As someone who never played Fire Emblem, I would say it looks like a mix of Heroes and Advanced Wars

This is the most important question I can ask about this game: Is the Goddess @0:20 recruitable? If so, I will buy the game right now and she will lead my army to victory on her mighty shoulders!

Yes she is! She is one of the strongest characters in the game! Although I'm not sure if you can actually romance her; but you're welcome to try and let us know 😜
