***** I do listen to Fleshgod, and all of their albums are great, from the more brutal tech Mafia, to more Symphonic utilized Labyrinth. Job for a Cowboys newest album is great too. For me, Cattle, Aborted, Cryptopsy, Behemoth are heavier than those. But I am not sure what you are getting at. People have different opinions and tastes in metal, and listening to heavier metal than other people, doesn't make one superior. Good music is what matters, and if that music then happens to be heavy too, then great. Sorry to say, but you seem a bit pretentious.

***** Heaviness comes in many forms. Lyrical concepts. Raw elements. Slow groovy riffs. Fast blast beats. Haunting Atmospheres. Not a big fan of them. Sure they are heavy. Not my type of heavy though. But why does it matter so much to you, which is heavier or not? Heaviness =/= Good Music

hey, yeah blast beats are the fast consistant snare drumming usually heard in Death and Black metal. Some more modern black metal bands like Dimmu Borgir incorporate heavy orchestral arrangments with the music
