I have used red clover for over 10 yrs and has kept my estrogen hormone swings stable....a life saver! I also used wild yam in my 40's for progesterone drops, but are stable now.
@@northernlassie2755 oh wow thank you so much for your prompt reply 🙏🙇♀️ I'm 46 peri menopausal I like to take vit and supplements before I hit the big M. Already doing low carb and IF as the good doc advised and I walk a lot. Used to swim length before covid pandemic. I did my research and plan to take natural Vit E; red clover and wild yam
@@littlemidget4764 You're so welcome. When taking those make sure you take each one when needed so you do not unbalance your hormones. Listen to your bodie's response so you know which one you need and how much. I came through 10 years of menopause without pharma drugs. Also wild fish oil helped. Hope you get through it all without too many problems.
I have just visited my gynaecologist this afternoon. I am 54 years old and I am 5 years in menopause. I went to my doctor because I experienced bloodloss last week. She saw evidence that there had been some activity in my ovaries. I practice intermittent Fasting and I sometimes do prolonged fasts. Fasting is supposed to rejuvenate you, maybe this has something to do with this ?
Dear Dr Berg, Thank you so much for your videos. One of my close relatives were diagnosed with pre-mature ovarian failure. She is below 35 years old. Can you please help out with a video on POF if it can be reversed or what can help? The reason could be her being highly stress for very long or something else which we are not very sure about! Thanks in advance!
Question. How does Pueraria Mirifica increase progesterone in the post-menopausal? Is increasing the estrogen alone enough to somehow balance both estrogen and progesterone?
@@Pakistankikhana Dr. Mercola vitamin E is one of the best. I started a few weeks ago and after only 2-3 days of taking it my hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia all gone! Unbelievable 👍
I am a breast cancer survivor. The type I had was tested and found to be triple positive, meaning it fed off of estrogen. After my treatments, I went on a 5 year protocol of an estrogen blocker/replacement drug therapy that mimics estrogen, and any cancer cells remaining will think it's the real thing, take it into the cell, and rather than being fed, it's killed. So I get nervous when estrogen therapies are introduced to middle age women as breast cancer could possibly develop. I will say, a triple positive test result is better than a negative one, in that this medication exists to help protect from the cancer reoccurring. Ladies with negative tests have not fared so well. While I hate the symptoms of menopause, I'll take them over introducing any kind of estrogen replacement therapies, and that includes bio identical hormones. Dr. Berg, have you any information how this herb interacts with estrogen positive breast cancer? I would like to discuss this with my oncologist. Thanks so much.
I too am a breast cancer survivor! My Cancer was also estrogen positive. I can’t take any estrogen or phytoestrogens, I’m guessing this contains phytoestrogens. I to would be interested in this information.
I too am a breast cancer survivor. More than once, in both breasts. Mine were also estrogen positive. I was looking for this question from someone, thank you! I don't have hot flashes, but get hot in the evenings. I have some hair loss. I am concerned about estrogen replacement also, but would like to find something that helps. Thank you!
I have breast cancer too. I was diagnosed positive for hormone receptors 7 years ago when I was 34. They said I was stage 1. I went through everything, surgeries, chemo, tamoxifen, years of debilitating hotflashes. Last year I found out that it had spread, and not only went to 80% to 100% receptive to estrogen but also mutated from HER2 - to +. Sometimes I feel they (doctors) know nothing, put us through hell and ask us to trust what they tell us.
I have read so much on estrogen & soy & there seems to be a bad man-made estrogen & a good one. The bad one being from birth control pills & gmo soy. The good one from organic soy & nature like red clovers.
Hello Dr Berg I’m one of your flowers on RU-vid I need to tell you my experience after watching this clip from you I’m 58 years old woman who went to complete menopause at age 52. I had severe dryness after that and I was looking for natural home remedies for my symptoms, after I watched this clip I order 100% natural Organic Pueraria Mirifica powder grown in Thailand and started using even a Little bit less than recommended dosage After 3weeks using the dryness was gone But my nipple color got very dark, I stopped using it and 4 days later my period started Is this normal?
I hope Dr Berg will respond to you in some manner. Your concern I’m not something he should neglect to answer because a period/bleeding after taking it and nipple color change. If nothing else he can learn from your experience.
I went a year without a period & took chicory root to help my liver & it caused me to start my period. I found out it also causes uterine contractions. Plants are powerful. I didn't get too concerned as uterine shedding is natural for women. I only wish I could find a holistic or naturopathic gynecologist. Mine just tries to put me on birth control 🙄
@@multipotentialmentorYes, because they want full control over everyone's birth! They don't want us having children at all. It's all apart of the Depopulation AGENDA.
Can't increasd estrogen be a cause of breast and uterine cancer in older women ? Also, can a full hysterectomy (ovarys removed) prior to menopause be a cause of joint degeneration with a need for hip and knee replacements at a senior age. And, be a cause of spinal degenerative disk disease as we age ? Are these things related and what can be done to prevent these issues in the first place ? Thank you for your videos.
Thank you so much Dr Berg, sharing the knowledge I’ve been looking for, I desperately needed answers to. You are the Best!! Yes finally I understand what’s happening with me.
I use a progesterone cream and it got rid of all my symptoms for about 5 years… now I think my estrogen dropped so looking into this….but progesterone cream helped with breast tenderness, migraines, and grumpiness… so if your at the beginning start there. I think the progesterone drops bigger first
I had to have a complete hysterectomy at age 30 and I’m 42 now and been suffering for the past few years with severe menopausal symptoms. Any recommendations and would this herb been beneficial for me?
I had my tubes tied at age 45 and use progesterone cream from Emerita. I took DIM at night. Totally helped me. Im 56 now and if I take the DIM or the Progesterone I get a light period when I haven't had one in 10 years so your body adjusts over time. I keep them on hand but I don't use those often anymore. But they helped.
I emphasize with u my dear had hysterectomy at age 37, since then my body has gone thru an emotional n physical roller coaster. Hve to be on my vitamins n herbs to keep me going, am now 57 plus
Thank you for this educative video! Finally I know what actually happens in my body and why I have these menopausal symptoms! Also, how to get relief from the herb.
So many questions and I do not trust the doctors, but the doctor did tell me that he thought I had a adrenal fatigue and I told him after listening to the woman who wrote the book you’re not broken. I told him that most doctors say it’s adrenal fatigue, but in fact, it is low testosterone. She said that a lot of doctors call that even though it’s not, what you’re saying it seems coincides?
Saliva test that shows "ferning" on the day(s) you ovulate. Or just withdrawal method except on days you may be ovulating. Become familiar with the raw egg consistency of fertile cervical discharge.
Gel !you must use it each time but it worked for me , Walmart or Amazon no hormones! They don’t recommend it because if you forget you will end up pregnant, but I did not want on birth control with hormones so I was able to remember! And all the years no unwanted pregnancies accidents, I have children easily when not using gel, do it be hormone free
Dr. Berg thank you so much for this video. As always it’s great learning from you. As of today I’ve loss 29 lbs using your keto videos and advice thank you. But I’m experiencing the perimenopause symptoms . One question I would like to know in your experience does this natural remedy interfere with any other medications?
There are 3 Estrogens. The one you want is Estradiol and the one you don't want is Estrone. Watch Biobalance healthiest to lean more about the aging effects of high Estrone.
There are 3 kinds of Estrogen. Progesterone DROPS and the remaining Estrogen goes too high, before Menopause (mid to late 40s and early 50s, even), and this causes MANY miserable symptoms. The Key to managing this situation is to add back the decreased Progesterone that is missing...
Does the progesterone cause cancer though? I'm desperate with these internal tremors, anxiety, heart pounding, menopausal symptoms!!! My adrenals are wack, throw in some prednisone for other problems I'm having and my life is sheer anxiety!!!!
@@prettyyoungthingpyt5015 Progesterone does not cause cancer. It helps tremendously. I use Organic Excellence Bio-Identical USP Progesterone Cream and rub it on my skin. For adrenals, my Homeopathic doctor recommended DSF Formula. For anxiety, GABA 750mg Tablets by Source Naturals and Theanine 200 by Jarrow. All these gave me my life back and I thank God for everything! Can be ordered online or found at a good health food store. Best wishes to you.
Thank you so much!! I have ordered some from Thailand and hopefully will get off the synthetic estrogen from the doctor and these will help with the horrible symptoms 🙏❤
I took this recently bought the purest and most potent form from Thailand and took 2/3 of the recomended dosage. My spleen that night felt like it was gonna burst. I paid alot for it and hate to throw it away. I don't feel like there is much information out there on this. I threw up for 5 hours straight till my spit turned to foam and I passed out from exhaustion.
Question regarding Pueraria Mirifica, if your hormones are not balanced, you can get ovarian or breast cancer. Can you do a video on how to really use this product? Thank you.
I have been taking "Pueraria Mirifica," from Thailand. I love this product, however, my period returned, after having no periods for over 10 years. I stopped the "Pueraria Mirifica," to see if it is the supplement that is causing the bleeding, and it has let up. I am just watching to see if it stops all together. If it doesn't then I know it's something else and I plan to go to my gyn. So, can this product cause bleeding in a postmenapausal women? And yes it did scare me to see blood.
Incredibly timing Dr! I was trying to remember the name of this herb yesterday when discussing menstrual issues and how Agnus Castus didn't seem to work for me. Thank you so much for all you do x
This is the stage of life I’m in right now. Being low in estrogen has caused me to have headaches. A couple months ago I started taking a supplement called Vitex made by BioCeuticals and that has really helped with balancing out my hormones.
Justcruisin Mom , Herbal extract standardised equiv. to dry: Vitex agnus-castus (chaste tree) fruit 1000mg equiv. to aucubin 600mcg equiv. to agnuside 500mcg I get them sent from Australia from a place called Mr. Vitamins. But they’re also available on Amazon.
Dang, the powder is sold out! I'm 54, a couple years ago bloodwork showed I'm post menopause. I don't even feel like the same person. I would give anything to have close to same person I was 2 years ago.
Can I purchase this herb through you? I'm 48 and seeing the health of my friends and family going downhill quickly Menopause and the symptoms related are starting to weigh heavily on my mind. I don't mind aging but I also don't want to not recognize the person staring back at me in the mirror. Can you do more videos on this topic. "Getting ready for the big fight (Menopause)"
@ Blue....I’m so glad to hear about others having menopause and still being healthy and still themselves. I just stopped having my period this past month and so I guess that means I’m peri menopausal. What I read is a scary about symptoms but I take it in stride b/c each body is different. So far, since it just missed my period for the first time is waking up early. That’s a first. I read anxiety and I can tell I’m have some but I’ve always had it to start with and then no knowing what else to expect is a little worrisome but I am staying as healthy as possible doing IF, keto, exercise and at healthy weight. Just wanted to let Elizabeth know you may not change as much as others and thank Blue for reminding others that they will be just fine.
What can be done about the lack of sexual desire after menopause? My wife claims she has none, no feelings down there etc and frankly it sucks for both of us.
@@jimbeaver27 well for what it costs its worth a try, I'm not the healthiest of eaters but time for change, started training at home with dumbells, weight dropping, the l arginine gives me energy and increased blood supply to certain areas, try it, even both of you take it, you'll thank me for it.
I have had a hysterectomy and an oopherectomy. I am on hormone replacement therapy. I suffered from adenomyosis and endometriosis which affected my quality of life and then I began to grow huge blood cysts on my ovaries and growths inside my uterus. My question is, can I stop using the esteogen patches? I had severe hot and cold flashes, couldn’t sleep and it was hell.
Im 55 and still get periods (about half as often id say). Very few and very mild hot flashes im mostly keto. Is this why im not having a struggle with menopause symptoms?
This is amazing you've just done a video on this I've just ordered some after hearing about from Dr Christiana Northrup and just today wondering if it's safe..Thankyou so much and for the research links.
Dr Berg please respond with how long we should cycle this supplements and how do we know if it’s the correct form. Any times China sells things from Thailand. But where is the best place to buy this product? I mean they have it on Amazon or should we go to like lab type of place? It is something that we will need to stay on cycling it on and off once we read these symptoms and everything starts to kind of fall apart as it does😢
5 days of progesterone supplement (dr prescription after bloodwork showed too low) crashed me into full blown gastroparesis. Now I'm scared to mess with any hormones...what is safe?!
Ooh brilliant, this is great information for me right now. 🤗 Thank you muchly for sharing this very important information with us all, & take care of yourself to. ❤🙂🐶
Hot flashes are the only thing that bothers me most. I'm going to try vitamin E. I already take evening primrose oil and drink sage tea, but they don't work for me.
I am 44 and still hoping to have a baby. There is early menopause history in the family. However I still have regular normal periods. Is there any way of delaying menopause at all?
I gave birth to my second child 13 years after my first at 45, I had been using wellsprings bio identical progesterone cream for several years to help with peri menopausal symptoms despite still having a regular cycle... progesterone levels drop off massively in the late 30’s, continuing to decline but to sustain a pregnancy until 13 weeks you need high levels of progesterone which is produced in the ovaries. This is one explanation for pregnancy failure in the first trimester in older women. I’d suggest seeing your doctor to get your hormone profile particularly FSH & progesterone levels checked in the first instance. Good luck
I wanted to buy your CRUCIFEROUS supplement, but saw it helps to lower the estrogen-levels in the body. So,l wonder if this product is good for me,as I am 67 and have low estrogen. Thank you for your investment in humans wellbeing and your research.
Dr. Eric Berg DC if we are in menopause why would we want to lower even more estrogen? Do you have products that will help increase estrogen? And we must also take proportional amount of progesterone as well. Please help. Thanks a million.
What do you think about taking natural hormone replacement therapy? I had a hysterectomy at 32 and have been using bioidentical hormone replacement from a compounding pharmacist for the last 16 years. I am extremely insulin resistant and have really struggled with my weight since my hysterectomy. Is it time to stop these hormones and could this be making it more difficult to lose weight?
It'd be nice if there was more concern and consideration given to women who actually still menstruate since many of them suffer too. Society in general focuses disproportionately on menopause. Ways to reduce PMS symptoms would be great to know, Dr.Berg.
I do think Dr Berg is a very knowledgeable chitopractor. I just think if you are going to give us information you should answer the questions people have. Have you noticed that Dr Berg rarely makes comments. If I’m propping Dr Berg up by subscribing to his channel I believe it is his responsibility to respond to questions especially if someone had a negative result due to his advise. Just a thought Dr Berg.
Well, I'd be happy to give this a try but am stopped by which one to choose. I realize you advise to make sure this has a country of origin of Thailand but how safe is this product if it is produced in Thailand? Amazon offers an array at various price points. I can buy it in a bag of capsules or in colorful bottles from various mfg.s. Grrr
