What are the symptoms of calcium deficiency?
What types of symptoms might somebody experience with calcium deficiency? You don't just wake up one day with osteoporosis. What are we looking for in terms of symptoms that people might experience acutely?
Acute loss of calcium leads to cramping in the muscles. Calcium deficiency will lead to that muscular fatigue and that muscular burning pain. That muscle fatigue as a result of calcium deficiency is not an uncommon symptom at all, so pay attention to that one.
Often times people with muscular fatigue will experience tightness in the muscle.

All the symptoms you mentioned I have and I had been led to believe I had a mag deficiency, for which I have tried numerous doses and types of mag, all to no avail. Will give calcium a try, thanks

Protect this man at all costs always has great info. Symptoms are mental as well. It can destroy your cognition to have low calcium. I had this foot cramps muscle weakeness and stifness poor sleep brain fog tingling in extremities

Thanks, that was a life saver. As bariatric patient I rely on supplements and was too lazy on calcium because of ignorance how bad ignoring my calcium supplement duty is. Was cramping up to tetany and didn't know why. Memory loss, tingling nerves in fingers... Now I get why I really need to take the suplements.

Hi, I get cramps when I supplement with Magnesium. My Calcium Serumlevels are normal potassium Serum levels also normal. Could it be that I have to low Calcium when I take Magensium?

Same thing here... and I have been under the impression that magnesium supplements reduced muscle spasm, not other way around...

I’ve been keto for 6 months and I don’t have cramps but twitches . My eye twitches , my calves twitch ect I think it’s calcium possibly . Also pain after exercise that lasts days which I don’t think is normal in my early 20s .

Tiesto X I haven’t . I also haven’t been able to see my neurologist because of the virus .. it wasn’t calcium though . My bloodwork was normal . I think it may be BFS

Keto diet is acidic. It is why it creates twitches. Try to cut down on meat and eat more vegetables.

This what I needed I work hard as an athlete and started magnesium along with cutting some dairy .. I think excessive work causes me to get here

Sonette, typically, elevated calcium causes migraines. Vitamin D deficiency can cause serum calcium to rise, so often times vitamin D can be helpful for those with migraines. Do not take D3 at night. Take with breakfast that has fat. If we take D3 at night, it will prevent us from sleeping.

@@HTB6493 it is not vit D3 that give you insomnia. Insomnia has many, many different causes: stress, worries, fear, anger, lack of faith in God, loneliness, salt, too much animal protein, lack of exercises constipation, etc... Listen to your body. One thing I am sure is that no salt at dinner, eat okra soup, raw garlic cloves, raw onion, steamed green leafy vegetables for dinner, , yoga in the evening, breathing techniques will help. Eat lot of raw garlic and raw onion to clean clogged arteries. Those will make you healthy. Especially, pray to God everyday. He loves you.
