Hello Dr. Osborne! New sub here, living in Eugene, Or. I am amazed at the high level of information you are giving us, and I am in complete agreement with you regarding the piss-poor quality of our food here in the U.S. I am a staunch ingredients label reader. I am 68 years old and disabled, but I insist on cooking from scratch for myself twice daily and baking my own bread using organic ingredients purchased from the bulk foods section of my favorite grocery store. Eating healthy these days is no easy task. we need to always beware of toxins being added to our foods, as well as the environment in which our foods are grown. Always. Read. The. Ingredients. Label. Thank you for sharing your time and expertise!

Only heard a couple of your videos so far but I find them so informative and so well explained. I suffer with chest pain from time to time and am wondering re: calcium supplements if it could increase the danger of calcification? Oh ok I just saw a similar question to mine...just read your answer👍☺️

I think Hair tissue mineral analysis is much better than blood. In blood it's highly regulated but in HTMA you can see if you have excess or not enough. Also you talk about vit K in cruciferous veggies and stuff but you don't mention that it's K1 and it's not that easy make into K2. Your gut microbiome makes some but if you don't have a good microbiome you're screwed. K2 is in natto and some fermented foods, especially fermented dairy and if i remember correctly in sauerkraut . Also i don't think salt is bad for calcium, but if you're low on magnesium than it can be. Salt is very important for the body

Hi Dr Osborne. Should we take calcium tablets if we are low bone density,? If you take 6 prunes a day is that enough for your Boron intake or should you supplement Boron.❤

Ok ladies if you're concerned about brittle bones, get some pH strips and make sure your pH is balanced. Then take K2, D3, Magnesium, vitamin C, a good multivitamin and minerals and at least 6 mg of boron. Try to get some sun every day and lift weight bearing weights. Also try jumping from something at a height that you can do safely. Examples like walking down the stairs try jumping off the last or second to the last step. At 60 I jump from places like the kitchen counter after changing the light bulb, and fall all the time when going too fast while rolling blading. My 25 yr old daughter is more afraid of me breaking a bone that I am😊

With whom can I get an intracellular calcium test done? My regular doctor won't do it. Also, can calcium supplements cause or contribute to arterial calcification?
@DrOsborne
@DrOsborne 5 лет назад
Kelly, find a good functional medicine doctor. You can also call my office 281-240-2229. As far as calcium supplements causing calcification. Not so much. Make sure you are getting adequate magnesium and vitamin K in your diet when you take calcium.

Uk jenny from Tobago. I'm on a low oxalate, carb, zero sugar diet. I have R.A. and autoimmune disease. I've been eating a wholefood diet for 50 years. It no longer serves me. I take zero pharmaceuticals. I make my own yoghurt eat a variety of meat and fish straight from the fishermen. I take few supplements - magnesium glycinate zinc citrate, green lipped mussel, cranberry fruit powder, natural e. D3. I haven't eaten red meat for 50 yrs but now as carnivore as i can be. I'm female over 70, had colon cancer 18 years ago - no chemo or radiotherapy and a perfect weight. Am not prediabetic.I feel i might be oxalate dumping and its making me feel awful. I wondered if calcium citrate would help me up my oxalates and keep it out of my blood stream. Everything is hurting and i have zero energy. I swim but feet painful and hands bad so no other exercise is feasible. Any advice would be appreciated

@@jennyduncan8016you should try it, it might work. I eat a mix diet of vegetables, meat and fruits. Recently I was feeling down and wondering what is going on, gaining weight even though am on a one-meal-a-day. I remember that I haven't taken calcium for a whole year and started to again. I take 10,000 iu of D3 with k2 and magnesium. 🇯🇲 living in the ❄️.
