A bit late to the party, but I just upgraded from A4 to A12 when I got the car this week after doing the latest SYNC update in my 2012 Ford Edge SEL. Works just fine.

You have to kill all the power to your car. Make sure you open car door to insure the radio power is off. Insert the card and start the engine. If that doesn’t work then probably the card Couple questions for you 1. When you updated your system I notice it says Apple on the display menu. What does it do and does it give you Apple play? 2. Any noticeable new features? 3. What is on the backside of your A12 as card? Thanks and good luck

The A12 is working in my 2013 edge . Latest firmware loaded for sync.

I have a question. I just purchased a 13 Ford Edge. The SD card for the navigation is in the slot but the radio is not reading it. It just says information where it should say navigation when the SD card is inserted. Any idea of what is the problem and how can I solve this issue? Thank you.

i have 2012 ford edge SEL SYNC 2 , when i check myford website it says that my sunc2 is uptodate V3.6 ! how do i get V3.7 ?

I did the update but my nav did not come up. all it did was update sync to 3.10.16180. how do it get the nav in their ???

You need to have factory nav. Updating does not give you Nav. However there are videos on how to hack the system to get it.

A12 requires 3.10

I have the 3.10 version and can't seem to use the A13. All I have is the A6 🤣 it's too old

i know A12 will work with v3.10, but i'm yet to see A13 being successful with v3.10. A13 may only work with late model sync 2's regardless of the software version. I know ford did some minor hardware revisions throughout the course of the sync 2's lifecycle from 2011-2016 like did with sync 3x.

@@josephbrewer8086 did you try A12? It works for me. I got it from Amazon. You can find it for like 20 bucks now. Yeah, it maybe not the latest, but I went from A4 to A12 so it was a huge difference for me. I mainly bought it cause my A4 was messing up my sync. It kept saying insert nav card and as a result it was making my touch screen commands glitchy at times. I even did a master reset and the update to v3.10 and none of that helped. But ever since I put in the A12 nav card though, it seems to be working fine now.

@@josephbrewer8086 Yeah A12 seems to work with v3.10 software on any sync 2 so far as far as I know of. I have an 2013 F-150 Lariat and it worked on mine.
