Check out Michael B. Nelson’s “Hornheads” discography. He writes horn charts like they’re rhythm section orchestrations. Having followed him for decades it’s obvious how much the sound of this group owes their groove to his sensibilities.

Getting to see this live was such an experience! My fiancee is a massive Trousdale fan and we haven't stopped listening to these three songs you did together since. Everybody absolutely killed it at this show! Holding out hope that there's another Cory Wong and Trousdale collaboration!!

about 2:27 You can hear Victor throw in a tritone super quickly but it makes it just a pinch spicier that’s what makes him such the keen bassist he is

I won't claim to ever know what Sting is saying with the lyrics but this sounds like a completely different song! Nice rearrangement of a Police classic. Maybe you guys could try your hand at writing an original tune - maybe you can call it "stairway to heaven".
