sometimes the linkage arm needs adjusting, the throttle may open on the same time but may not open one of the throttle all the way. so you need to change were the arms sits.
I run 44 IDFs. Thing that confuses me is the Weber book I have says all the mixture screws must be turned same amount. Other ppl seem to tune each one separately.
Did you already have the engine warm before you took your linkage off your carbs. I have 44mm Weber IDF carbs and I can never start my car cold without being on the throttle. Once everything is warm I can start it just by turning the ignition but never when the motor is cold. Is this normal?
Dick Thompson the paint on that car is in really bad shape and needs to be redone. If the paint wasn't so bad I would agree with you that it's a lot better idea to put a rag down first.
How do you know the correct number to sync the carbs? I had one at 5 and one at 6 using the same tool. How do you know which one is right? Is there a guide that shows the correct number based on carbs or engine setup?
