G'day, you do excellent work mate. I have a question about burnishing the gold foil to the fine silver, can it be done to other metals? Like copper and brass for instance?
Two reasons one to illustrate how it is done and two because it doesn't leave a solder seam, it now is just one continuous barrel of fine silver. Of course sense it is oxidized one wouldn't see the solder seam but if it wasn't oxidized then over time the seam would tarnish while the fine silver would not and one would have a weird stripe down the center of the vessel.
