That's the beauty of Dearly Beloved, every rendition has its own charm. The piece is distinct yet malleable that anyone can create their own interpretation of it to suit the nature of their heart and I think that's about as close to kingdom hearts as any of us will ever get
+Chaz Brangwin it's going well. The piece is 12 pages long, and it's difficult so it's taking a lot of time to learn. A lot more time than I originally thought it would. Thanks for asking
I did but never played 368/2 days because it was never available in the shops. Then I played the remix version and shed a a few tears. But I'm sayin as a kid, I used to be so depressed at the end of the game for KH1
Jaymax - Josef Ok, I was just wondering. Anyone who didn't cry at the end of 368/2 days is either a monster or some type of amphibious animal lacking the ability to feel.
When he moves to the deeper sound at 1:37 I feel my heart sink from the weight of all the memories I spent with this game and all the friends I made by pulling quotes from the game
ok I have finished the song since last time I commented. If you are wanting to learn this song, the first two pages hold a lot of the pattern you use for the rest of the song, aside from the crescendo parts and stuff its really a bunch of variations of the "C,C,G,G,F,F,D,D," which is easy and also sounds really awesome. I'd say learn the first 2 pages and then take your time on the 3rd and 4th pages. :/ honestly those were probably the hardest parts for me aside from the left hand in the last 2 pages. Most of it you just have to repeat and repeat and repeat until you know exactly where to put your hands. This song is amazing, and really fun to play so I'd say go for it.
Wow! When I was “little” I wanted to learn how to play this so bad. I really really want to make the time for it. I haven’t started. But I want to so badly
@@Lobooo I can play it, and it is the thing I play the most. I loved it so much that I am now even learning the 2011 version also, which is a lot harder haha
people in my class at school ask me why i look so tired all the time, i just tell them i can't sleep, but what I'm really doing is listening to this while watching the sunrise with a sad smile on my face enjoying every fiber of life i can get from the gorgeous view of the sunrise
I remember when I was younger I would stay on the start of the game to listen to this beautiful majestic piece of wonder. I kind of hate myself because I've listened to this song so much that I can not cry any more when I listen to this piece of heaven :(
Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to find our way to the truth, to find our way to each other, wherever we may be. Across vast oceans of water, or of stars we search, for the truth lies within and can only be brought out by others ^__^
6:14 That. That right there is what kind of emotional effect I love to hear in music. To leave you awestruck, without words that you can use to describe it to another. Something that must not just be heard, but felt. An experience that never gets old, leaves you longing to hear it again. Kyle Landry has done something truly phenomenal.
***** Is it sad? Does it have philosophical themes? Or does it make a person think a lot about the game after finishing it? Now I am curious and will play it for sure.
the story is really good, and the emotional attachment you develop with the characters are so strong that they are almost real. it was one of the best games i ever played- i don't really want to spoil anything though, but try to grab an emulator of it or something if the console version isn't attainable.
Play it! It is amazing, out of every game I've ever played, KH is my favorite there is a cool storyline and it has disney and final fantasy characters into one badass game doing crazy stuff
I absolutely love Kyle. He knows of such unique ways to let the piano sing. That can only be brought about through years of practice. He definitely put his fair share of time in when mastering piano.
***** When you do something long enough, I guess you really learn the ins and outs of it. Advanced musicians say they learn new things about their instruments all the time. Music is endless.
I've tried on and off again the last 2 years to learn this song all the way, but keep getting flustered at the speed and intensity of the left hand on that final run, maybe one day I'll be able to do it all and post it for RU-vid with pedal and dynamics
While listening to this piece, I'm just staring at the screen, daydreaming about the good old days. Whether when those days were simpler, looking at a sunset, looking at the mountain clouds, anything nostalgic is running in my mind while listening to this.
I have to have watched at least 3 hours' worth of this. I have definitely spent numerous 30 minutes straight just watching this video, and doing nothing else.
I ain't even a fan of the franchise, yet I liked this song when I first heard it (in an italian video about Artorias the Abysswalker of Dark Souls; a fitting video I'd say) Ehhhh, when a song IT'S THAT GOOD, every remix of it (fanmade or not) it's good.
This song is absolutely beautiful. According to KH3D, this song represents the friendship between Sora and Riku. Sora being the melody (the green) and Riku being the harmony (the blue). Now that I listen more closely, those parts do sound like their personalities (in a weird musical way). I adore this song
This is without a doubt the absolute best version I've ever heard. I have goosebumps and tears in my eyes. You are incredibly talented. Thank you for blessing us with this stunningly beautiful version of one of my favourite pieces of music ever.
Dude said the 185 people who disliked are heartless, but I think you shouldn’t worry about it, they’re a bunch of nobodies. That’s why YT started hiding dislikes
This is my favorite song!!! If I actually learn how to play this, I will probably cry after my first performance. That sounds weird, but Kingdom Hearts helped me through a not-so-easy childhood. I guess that sounds weird, too. I've always been kind of a weird loner. Whatever.
This was a joy to learn, and my doggo loved it too, he would always lie under the piano when I practiced. It’s been about 4 years now since I last played the piano so I have to relearn this again but it’s still so much fun, and my old dog still loves to hear me play
Idk if this is the right crowd but I looked for hours to find this because it was at the end of a story about a time traveler that goes to a party hosted by a rich man who ended up killing his guests due to an egg. Once the time traveler wakes up, he’s in a white castle. May we all remember the in between. - from the tales of an SMP.
such a beautiful song. I plyed it at a talent show and I got first place. And This song was so beautifulthatI saw people in the audience have tears down their face
I thank god every time I’m on the piano for putting this song in my suggested 5 years ago. Never before this song was I more obsessed with playing an instrument.
***** It wasn't "delayed". They just announced it REALLY early to make all the people who were complaining about it be quiet. And, sorry to say, but I'd guess 2016 is a more likely release year for KH3. They still need to finish Final Fantasy XV.
I watched my sister grow up on kingdom hearts since the first game came out. Despite all the life BS threw at her/us, KH was one of the things that made her happy and helped her through a crap ton. I hope to one day have the honor to both learn this on piano and play it her wedding or at a major life milestone...
From going to the original, to showing true passion and love for a dearly beloved, to showing you’ll fight for her and do whatever it takes to keep her. It goes on to sounding like you’ll never give up even though times are getting tougher when he trills with 2 fingers and climbs up the piano. Then it calms down to just beauty. Then changes to a music box type of version. Then a triplet of the music box version. Then an deep desire from music box triplet to what seems like a beautiful ending....it slows and then seems to change when he climbs up again. Then starts over hesitantly. This time stronger than last time. It builds up to the climax. The utmost love, dearly beloved wasnt just a name, it was something so much more through all this, they played it through their heart out. This is the best version out of all of the others. This version had its own categories and types in just 1 song. I learned up to 0:45 but i can’t wait to play this to my crush one day.
:) Whatever works. And GOOD LUCK to you. Remember one hand at a time when learning, it helped me alot. For instance: learn (memorize) right hand first-first 15 seconds into the song; then switch to left hand, and memorize that for the first 15 sec. Then periodically switch between the too every 15 seconds of learned 'Kingdom of Hearts'. Around 0:31 (when both hands meet together basically) continue to learn/memorize both at the same time into the music... Hope that helps
Yup, this i'm learning and not giving up on... It's so beautiful! One of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. It brings out my heart and fills it with ambition
