The piece is from Kingdom Hearts, called Hikari (Simple and Clean), written by Hikaru Utada and arranged by Kyle Landry and transcribed by Zorsy.

The parts where the notes are extended are when the foot pedals are held down, your hands aren't actually still on the key when they extend like that.

I learned this song in four months and actually played it in the biggest music concert in my school. Funny thing was that it was my first ever performance in front of huge audience and surprising even myself i nailed it. Thank you kyle for giving me a awesome song to make my friends mouth's drop haha.

You should go for it. Practice slowly. It may take a couple of weeks to master that run, but it will certainly look impressive once you learn it

Kingdom Hearts will always hold a special place in my heart. I literally grew up with Sora, Riku, and Kairi. I'll ever forget all of the laughs, tears, emotions I've felt through our the series. It was one hell of a ride. I'm happy I got to see it through until the end. Until the next time my friends. Thank you for your stories.

I know this looks pretty damn hard and don't get me wrong but it's a bitch to learn. At first I thought I would be absolutely hopeless in playing this song but! In 3 months I got it perfectly :D It takes me ages to learn a song because I memorize it instead of reading off the sheet. Trust me, if I can do it I'm pretty sure you guys can learn it too, despite how long it takes, it's about dedication.

i wouldnt call it sad, just very emotional. its beautiful and melodic and they use the best tracks for sora kairi and riku and they spend so much time getting you attatched to them and all the other characters that everytime this theme or any other major theme comes up its like a punch to the face of nostalgia

@athoxd Not entirely in this video. I've just seperated the top and bottom bar on the sheets, so there are several places where the color doesn't represent the correct hand. But most of the video is blue=left and green=right.

My story with Kingdom Hearts is weird. A few weeks before Christmas I was at Wal*Mart looking at the video games when I saw Days. For some reason, without even knowing about the game, I felt like I needed it. I begged my dad to get it, and he did. A month or two later I saw the commercial for Re:Coded, with this song in the back. I couldn't get it out of my head for weeks... Until I bought it. I loved that game so much... And I still do.

@CheesecakeOtaku No, not always. I just split the top and bottom bar, it doesn't always follow the correct separation. So take a look of other playing the piece, if you're in doubt.

@Hairyhole1 You need to use your left hand for the D#. Hold the bottom D# (the blue one) down with the pedal, and you can use your left hand for the green alternating D and D# part, and the notes going down starting at 0:12. The hands are not entirely correct separated in blue and green. Hope that helped.

It' s possible to play with two hands, use the sustain pedal. You guys can learn this, trust me :) Practise, every day! No matter, how hard the song is, believe me! If you practise everyday, you' ll be able to play everything ypu want! Wonderfull piece!
