This is a video of a Federal Signal Modulator using all tones. This was made using audacity. Rate and subscribe, and feel free to leave a siren synth request or fantasy ambience request!
See, I saw this in another video and thought "I knew the wail sounded familiar the first time I heard it!" I wonder if the modulator is visible in Paracel storm.
@@WindowLickingDeer I don’t think it is. At least, I haven’t seen it and I’ve been playing BF4 from day 1 🤔 would be some nice attention-to-detail if you seen one of these modulators standing at the sound source...seems to come from the lookout tower between objectives alpha/bravo
I wish somers point used their 3012’s still, would love to hear the one at the ball field go off for a fire call while I’m standing on my grandparents property 3 blocks away
We have 2 of these at the airport I work at. They are used as lightning sirens. It plays the alert sound 1 time through when there is lightning within 30 miles. Then it plays the attack sound 4 times through when there is lightning within 10 miles, that means it's time to stop operations and get indoors. After the first time playing through someone at airport ops will get on the microphone and tell everyone to seek shelter. Then it plays the Westminster Chimes when the storm has passed, then we wait and all clear has been given over the microphone.
The Westminister Chimes is what would play in my hometown and it was so creepy. The streets would always be empty and quiet during it. Plus there was an automated voice that would speak during it.
a paper mill uses one of these, and they are only about a mile away, if that, and its all flat ground with barely any trees. they use westminster chimes and the alternate wail. i hope to god i dont ever have to hear them when its not a test lol.
lol key? I would say A natural, but the tone varies... the modulator has a 850hz tone and dual tone has a 850/1020Hz tone high low is 850-1020-850-1020 so on and on
Can I get the audacity files for all of the siren effects please? Thank you. And if anyone else has the file, fill free to private message me to help me out!
Why don’t modulators sound like this? People complain about ATIs being high pitched, the high tone on a mod reaches the same damn pitch as an ATI, better yet on the mod it’s even higher (just barely)
