I was going to comment about seeing a CRT Screen and THEN...They played "Camilla" ...I forgot what I was going to post ;... ) Been in Love with this Tune since I heard it and bought the Cassette Tape in 1986
Why does everyone here look like this is the first time they've ever touched any of this equipment, but at the same time are so amazing at it? Anxious bunch! But, damn good performance!
Woooowww came here just for curiosity, love the sounds and the music its amazing great job guys . . . let see more . . .!! if i see more talent im subscribing !!
the Emax is still awesome, i love this sampler (and also the Emu II, his father). But the CMI is an incredible sound machine with additive, resynthesis, sampling etc...
This is a more satisfying performance than most given by the original band: none of the irritating and unnecessary video effects that the AoN seem to think are vital.
Is this the art of noise guys? I've always wondered who art of noise is. Glad after this many years people still know what it is, and like it! I still blast it! And u see it in my mixes! :)
An Emulator 1, Emulator II+, Emax, AND a Fairchild all together played live? I think I just came a little. Wait is that a D50 AND a DX7 in the background? Okay I definitely came. Good thing you didn't have an EX5 in the mix or I'd need an ice pack.
Sebastian Roldan the song is "camilla" from the art of noise :) "The ambiant collection" album ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FaeN4bILhms.html
Hate to be nitpicking.. but the first synth chord in the early chord cycle of "Legs" is wrong. The first chord should be a major chord, not a minor-7. The borrowed bVI and bVII chords against a major 'I' chord is a trademark English sound; you hear it in Pet Shop Boys' "West End Girls", Seal's "Kiss From A Rose", and so, so many others, including of course Art Of Noise's "Legs."
