There's nothing quite like rolling up a big un, making some strong coffee and having a slow blaze whilst lying on the couch listening to the Art of Noise.
Back in 1986 I purchased Alan Parson's Fairlight Series IIx. Amazingly, it had the original sounds and sequence files for AON's Close to the Edit and Frankie's Two Tribes. The best of all was the original sequencer file and sounds for Alan Parson's Mamagamma. In 1988 I purchased the Fairlight Series III for over £30K and sold in 2005 for just £5,500 to help pay the mortgage!
@@nickelodeonstuff1572 Unfortunately not, which was a bit of an oversight on my part, though I did record the 8-track sequences as an 8-track recording.
I love AON! The first time I heard "Beat Box," my life changed forever. They totally shaped the way I approached music and continue to be an influence on me today. This must have been real fun to do.
The AON is just so very special to me. As a kid, you rebel against the music your folks listen to. In the 70s and 80s, my folks were into the Rolling Stones, Beatles, etc. Actually pretty cool, but I rebelled into early electronic music. The Art of Noise was just so different and unique from anything else out there. I have followed them from the beginning and own most of their back catalog, but this is just great to see. Keeping their sound relevant. Many happy times.
Hearing Beatbox for the first time in the 80s just blew my mind and I was an AoN fan for life. More importantly, as a kid that sometimes found everyday sounds musical it was almost like validation, that it was not just me, I wasn’t crazy. AoN broadened my mind as to what could be considered music.
Wow!! Folks will never get what we felt like back in the 70s and 80s with groups like The Art of Noise, Kraftwerk, and tons of other groups that it would take forever to name. This was a sneak peek at the wealth of creative minds that took music to another level. Great stuff!
I could see: PPG Wave 2.2 ore 2.3, Fairlight CMI, Emulator 2 ore 3, Emax, Roland Super JX and many more Super Synths! Great to see you working/playing on it Great work and Vid! THX👍👍👍
ART OF NOISE has always been my kind of vibe from the beginning, many have sampled their work because they are all things eighties. Epic sound as always. Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Oct 2021🙏❤🇬🇧🇬🇧❤🙏

These lads (who are not the Art of Noise memebers) are playing the sounds that changed the 80’s....great job & tribute to the real Art Of Noise....sounds great....
this was just a demo, for the Synthfest France, to show how music was made in the 80" and AON was the perfect choice for this... musicality and experimental way... :)
The guy in the white shirt seems happy just to be there, randomly hitting the motorbike start sample at all the wrong times and too loud in the mix, while the guy in the red carries the whole thing. Great video though, enjoyable on many levels
@@themightyimp08 that’s totally me, all out of tune, levels all out of phase 😅👍…..I’m so happy just to be there for sure….yes your right, still a great job by them, still impressive from a amateur standpoint

Музыка Art of Noise хороша. А кривляния этих пижонов под чужую музыку неинтересны. Типа нажали пару клавиш -- добавили пару нот от себя. Музыканты, типа.
