No disrespect to Syn I love the dude he’s amazing but they could’ve gotten any guitar player to do this if you’re getting syn at least let the man shred
@@WhyDidRU-vidDoThis bullshit, that man is the shred king of this generation. I myself also expected some killer shredding solo towards the end. That's kind of what he's known for. He does a damn good job at it too.
If you're gonna have a guitarist of Synyster Gates' caliber play with you or your band/group, you must let the guy shred. It doesn't matter if it's part of the original song, that person will make a great solo from it. And I'm damn sure Syn wouldve made some kickass solos out of many if not all of these songs played
Tina Guo absolutely know him. That's why she keep staring on Syn during he show some riff and she said "come on bro, show some shredding & solo. We're A7X lovers". Syn reply "yahh I know I'm awesome".
@@bagaspratama440 But it begs the question, why book a famous guitarist known for his soloing ability, and then just have him play some power chords? Just name recognition? Would be rather sad if that's the case.
Yeah I know but they could've probably gotten any decent guitar player to do this, they got Syn to play some basic melodys. It's just a waste of his talent.
Gawd that mix is awful. Syn sounds like some guitar player they picked up from the local guitar center, which makes no sense because every time I've seen him, he's killed it.
its because they gave him a tone doesn't match the instruments around him. They should have given him a tone that stood out less and made him quiet because then he would be supporting the rest and stand out less. Honestly they should have gave him his own sequence where he shreds because he's unreal
BrianEHaner.com It’s the director composition of everything that had him stay where he was musically. Of course he rocked it, but they still limited his guitar playing. Yngwie, Vai, even slash would have had a technical part. Still good though.
Just to be clear here: this performance was not about Synyster Gates. This was The Game Awards with music from multiple video games. He was hired as a skilled guitarist, not to outshine everyone or play solos.
Im not saying outshine, im saying the music director could have utilized his skill to play guitar a bit more intricately. You should watch Hired Gun on Netflix. Great insight. Not here to argue my rock brother, just my two cents. Keep it turned up to 11!
Coming from a guitarists ears, everytime you turn down the guitar fast it gives a little bit of feedback, if you really listen to when its just the orchestra and no syn you can hear him do it, lol pain of playing electrics live XD
Love the way the woman plays the weird face thing like she is rocking out then Syn immediately follows like "this is how its done" Also the girl on the cello thing living her best life (she definitely knows who Syn is 😂)
Luke Kenna avenged sevenfold wrote a lot of the music for some newer COD games, Black ops 3, Black ops 2 the band was involved quite a lot for the music in those games
Aknight292 well ye, but like they're their own separate thing and they started of on their owm and still do, but I'd say they've worked with cod, not really associated with it
Syn is like the cherry on top for the orchestra. 😘👌 Also, I'd also like to praise the concert master. She did amazing for that little violin solo on 1:18 there.
Jesus, it sounds like Syn is playing on a Line 6 Spider with a Squire Strat Mini on the neck pickup, aka, the worst guitar setup (I would know from expirience)
@@fabianrodriguez2601 to an extent. Once you’ve played on a legit professional set up and then you try a cheap combo amp with a cheap instrument you definitely hear the difference.
i remember i watched someone stream this when it was live back in 2017, i hadnt really watched the game awards much until that point and i was only there because of the person streaming. i was a huge fan of a7x at the time and i nearly shat myself when i saw him randomly appear. very glad i stuck around
Please fix the name of this video. Should be called “An orchestra with no name from some class C awards show featuring Synyster Gates playing something a toddler could play but mixed so far back in the mix he may as well have not even been there.”
Hay grandes obras pero la de the persona deberian haberle dado mas tiempo es muy bueno el tema para lo que tocaron eno personal synyster gates se transformo con el tiempo en uno de mis favoritos encuentro que su manera de tocar es increible👋
What the actual fuck. Die hard SYN fan, but that was hot garbage. They need to let him write some gnarly music, and then have them write around it. His playing seemed so out of place here
