Kyle McCord came into the season being labeled by NFL scouts as “perhaps a practice squad QB.” They said he couldn’t come through on the crucial play situations. His stock is rising. Yes, he is a pure pocket passer, but so is Brock Purdy. If he has a big game against Pittsburgh, it will be interesting.
Well we haven’t exactly played anybody close to as good as Oregon. But Will Howard single-handedly choked that game way worse than Kyle McCord did against Michigan.
I think its clear McCord has a higher ceiling but Howard can throw the slants and outs which maybe is all you need in CFB. All told, I'd rather have McCord no question about it
Just like usc lol Ohio state 1, ole miss 2 Oklahoma losses today .... thats football.. Btw the final top12 teams usually includes a 3 loss team or two at seasons end. Pitt & Miami wins in '24-25 would erase the last 100 losses 😂
If SYR beats Pitt and Miami then Stanford won't matter. If they lose either of these games, not too much of anything matters anyway. In college football one loss is bad. Two losses are terrible. NCST season has been over but they have a young QB who will only get better.
Games are played on the field. They are who their record says they are: mid🎉Cant believe these guys Pitt, GT and VT still get 5☆ talent each year .... its SUs turn 😂
Their starting QB was having seizures on the field after getting KO'd last week, so I cut them some slack, but their defense is not what I expected. Cuse receivers are a diff breed tho tbh, they make most secondaries look bad
Plenty of questionable calls in Syracuse’s favor that the commentators couldn’t make sense of: illegal formation/ ineligible receiver where the TE wasn’t covered up, illegal shift (1 of 2 back to back) where only one player was moving, the targeting call. Even when they called a late substitution penalty against Syracuse on a 1st down play, they tried to make it 2nd down. It took Doren stopping the next play and running on the field arguing it for them to correct it. The call against Syracuse on NC States field goal attempt that gave them a chance to score a touchdown was the more questionable call that kept them in it, but I think it was just generally bad reffing.
@@Mullet331 i totally get what you’re saying. Very very poorly officiated game all around. There were also a bunch of calls that I really couldn’t tell if they were correct or not bc we got zero replays of them. Also the only reason why I think this TD was more egregious is bc the refs said he was “pushed out” when he was literally tapped on the shoulder. The difference between a 75 yard td and an incompletion is pretty huge compared to a fg turning into a td
@@Mullet331 way way more bad calls against Syracuse. Literally gave NC State 11 points. 4 pts on an illegal formation BS penalty on the fg that turned into a td. Then another BS no call on the 75 yd TD.
The coach went for it on 4th Down when up by 10 needs to be investigated by NCAA that’s clear points shedding … trying your best not to make a game go over .. do your research 3 minutes left in 4th quarter it was very visible poor coaching decision
Bruh it’s not point shaving 😂 he was trying to make it a 3 possession game and end it completely. Fg there barely does anything for them. I like to throw a few dollars on the games too but you mindless degenerates who don’t understand football but gamble on it anyways are something else
@@jlop6822 Fran Brown decided to go for it on 4th down in the 1st half and late in the 4th quarter. They didn't convert either one. If they take the short field goals, they're up by 16 instead of 10 there. Being up by 2 TDs and 2 2-point conversions is better than being up by a TD and a field goal. I don't care what the analytics say. You take the points.
@@W0ckhardt420our kicking game has been shambolic. Special teams in general have been the worst in all of college football. They've had so many kicks blocked Fran Brown might have thought going for it was the safer play.
