Genie Mini är en extremt portabel rörelsekontroll som du enkelt fäster på ditt stativ och kontrollerar via en app i din smartphone eller surfplatta
Den är desginad för att vara otroligt enkel och användarvänlig. Appen har förinstallerade pre-sets som gör att du kan börja filma direkt. Filma snygga timelapse-filmer med hjälp av appen, panorerar mjukt och snyggt med videoläget, använd ease in, ease out-funktionen för att gradera rörelsen eller HDR time lapse för snygga effekter.
Genie Mini är kompatibel med ett stort utbud av kameror och fungerar med GoPro, spegellösa kameror och DSLR. Syrp Genie-appen är kompatibel med iOS och Android-enheter. Den är även konstruerad för att arbeta fint med Genie Motion Controle Device. Genom att synkronisera de två tillsammans får du en 2-axlig filmning. Synkkabel säljs separat.

This company is awesome. Their syrup camera base can support up to 30 lbs plus given the right sliders to balance. Their linear motion is the best on the market along with the tilt and panning. Their customer support is unbelievably helpful. I knew nothing and just wanted to film a family reunion in real time and they sent me videos on what I should check out and also provided information. If anybody is into photography with time lapse, real time, and even 3D parallax. The other thing that is amazing is their rails. Since it runs on a special rope system you can have your dolly as long as possible. I mean you don't even need a track. They have 2 of their ropes stretched across a 30 foot length. Check them out! You will not regret Damian

How smooth is slow panning, or slow tilting? I was thinking using something like this with my motorized slider.

This is somewhat unclear. What was the connection to the DSLR doing? Can you control exposure settings from the phone? If yes, then which cameras are compatible and what level of control do you get? As regards the interface for rotation control, a graphical swipe to rotate tool is cool and all that, but I want precise degree rotation and rotation control at speeds clearly useable. Does the stepper motor allow you to do astro photography? The payload capability of these little rotators are staggering if correct! I don't like these kinda promo vids, because they throw up more questions than they answer. If anybody has this set up and clear up the above, love to hear feedback from them.

En DIY-lösning är att limma fast Hama Omvändningsskruv 3/8-1/4 (art nr. 905121) på Ordning Timer från IKEA. Automatisk time-lapse som snurrar ett varv på 55 minuter. Behöver kompletteras med fjärrkontroll med funktion för time-lapse om inte kameran har det inbyggt.

WTF?! it can't pan and tilt at the same time? info taken from their websites FAQ. They call it panning and linear movement. not sure if this is pan and tilt or it is referring to the slider. anyone knows more?

You need TWO units to get both pan and tilt.

yes Geo Matrix, i got that. But assuming you bought TWO units: on their FAQ they stated that you can't Pan and Tilt simultaneously (I.e. for video). they changed their website. There is no FAQ anymore, but it seems to be possible now. They write now: "Once linked (both units) full control is possible from the Syrp Genie App"

@Burbsi Please be aware that the "Genie II" does not have any of the panoramic features, neither the live view nor the camera control. The advertise it as if it's already there but it current DOES NOT have those features in the app. If you email / message them they will tell you "it will have those but there's no ETA" while every single reseller lists those features as already available. I say this from personal experience as I purchased it here in Canada through VisTek store and had to return it a day after for the reason of "not as advertised".
