Wait wait, this doesn't run on my Commodore 64? waaaaaaa (seriously though, this game rocks and always read the min-spec)

a simple addition but a lot of people would enjoy is to be able to stand from the seat to check on your ship or attend to other things on the way to the place that you're visiting

I can tell you right now that this game will be successful. Space Engineers and Empyrion did really well for what they were, but you can tell that this kind of game is striving for something more in comparison. Definitely draws the eye more as well.

Don't get me wrong I'm a hardcore Starbase fan but StEvo is looking mighty good EDIT: Why is a Starbase fan the first commenter, SHAME ON YOU GUYS SHAAAAAME

The big difference between indie games and AAA titles was never the volume, but the polish of the base mechanics. That being said: the building is great, and the community has produced over 2000 entities, objects and ships in the steam workshop: with many being works of art while making use of the functions this game makes possible (interesting bay-doors, elevators, cameras, other functional parts). There is alot of potential.

Looks great. Especially the flight. Smooth looking controls. Wish i had more time to play it atm.

About the negative reviews on Steam, I kept following the creator of Rise to Ruins for a while and said basically the same thing. People don't read the description or go through the in-game tutorial and then they get all pissed off about how they don't understand the game or how the game is something different than they expected (even though it literally says what it is in the Steam page descriptions).

i've really enjoyed this game but theres some things id like to see added that might make the game better. being able to build circular objects, bring mechs back into the game,being able to land on planets and explore them, more space pirates, being able to farm resources, and character and clothes creator. this games fantastic but once you make your ship theres really not that much to do with it

2 main questions: 1: does this game not have wheels? like what if someone wanted to make a land rover or something? In all the vids I've seen on this game I've yet to see a single wheel/tire. 2: Any plans to add more robust PvE elements? Like a survival mode or even just enemies in general? Resource collection and management? Industrial parts for collecting resources and a way to automate them? Stuff like that? Imagine this game plus something like factorio. Any sort of challenge or purpose would likely take this game to new heights. Don't get me wrong, I get that building is fun, but if I have no reason to build I can't see myself being motivated to do so. Why am I making a spaceship? Is their a planet I need to get to? Am I trying to escape this planet? Does some megacorporation have a deadline I have to meet with strict standards? Maybe I'd rather build a farm and feed the locals instead? And maybe this farm has to be well fortified to defend against the other locals. Scrap Mechanic is the only building game I play these days since it's the only game that not only has a robust building system, but also a decent survival mode which has successfully motivated me to build a great many things. Ask yourself a question: what game is the highest selling game of all time? Hint: It's a survival building game.

I've wanted this game for quite a while but the only thing holding me back is a survival mode. The state of the game i've seen in these devblogs and other videos is pretty barebones but it looks like it has huge potential

one thing i would like to see is some sort on inertia on the turrets depending on the mass. Something about a large turret making fast, tiny flicks like it's playing CSGO is kinda ridiculous.

People that give negative reviews because their potato pc can't run stuff are seriously weird. It's like they don't understand the purpose of a review at all. I can understand how frustrating it feels

this game needs some reason to use the ships, it needs hungry, the need for water, to sleep, fuel, enemies, etc

pilot the ships only have the camera in third person? another question, will the game have joystick support?

Your PC has to be really crappy not to run this game. Mine is burning up while I'm doing absolutely nothing in Space Engineers, meanwhile Starship has me walking around in 300 meter long ships without the slightest hint of performance loss.

elite copied that system from space engine, its a system very clear for the user, its a very nice idea :) dev, don t take reviews too personally, people who have been screeching because space engineers doesn t play like an mmo, go to the biggest mmo out there, dual universe, and complain they can t play it like if it is space engineers lol, its just how people are :)

3:42 in the entire battle, all the damage you took was from your own ship lol plz fix turret FF

The ships are too strong. There are only a few blocks left of the ship, but it's still fighting. Will this be fixed somehow in the future? I would like faster fights, not a circus for 10 minutes sorry for translation

Yeah, there a lot of idiots out there who it seems they don't know how to read, They expect fully complete games and whine incessantly about how bad the game is afterward. But Cheer up, a lot of people have faith in you and your game!
