Your spirit animal gets drugged out and then fails to play the song correctly in several parts and then plays it off as if he's just having a good time?
This is exactly the kind of rockn rollish live performance i love. Drugged, weird, insane and full of charming imperfection. Don't know why everything has to be so clean, boring and perfect nowadays.
@@sojibhossen9218 lol good , I'm kinda sick of people saying "no phone or gadget , no Facebook etc , miss good old days / better days" pffftt grow up , at least people enjoying the concert and not being selfish
Dude that guitar solo is fucking amazing and he gets so into it almost like the music takes control of him in a weird way kind of like getting possessed
Serj has one of those faces that is insanely handsome with a beard but utterly alien without one, a bit like Rowan Atkinson. The first time I saw Serj with no beard I thought Will Ferrel had been impregnated by Ron Perlman and raised the child to adulthood.
I may be over thinking it but I think the psycho solo represents the stages of drugs, the solo starts out fast and fun, like the first few hits Then it gets more serious and sad, representing the ramifications of drugs And when Daron spins around and serj goes crazy on the keyboard it represents his life spinning out of control because of the addiction.
This is 1 of the most amazing & talented band on earth..! True to themselves, got their own unique sounds & songs. Watched them by accident in a compilation dvd my sister bought back many years back. Never look back again from there. Their music is one of many amazing things in my life now
Just imagine what was happening in their head at this moment: Serj: "Oh FuCk i CAn'T SinG proPERly Let'S do NOt GivE a fUcK ABoUt anYThInG" Shavo: "KILL THIS STRING I MUST KILL THAT FUCKIN STRIIIIING" John: "Oh God they're all high as fuck, I don't give a shit about those suckers, I just do my job and shut my mouth". Daron: "hYBUgùyUVvU!Vitufituvblkù¨gYfANNbu$GHFjejyuGfbnjnOJRHN;Jghyu*gfehbfùytFBVJH" Definitely a great creative band, one of my favorite, but too much drugs kills the shows...
Rope Dsbm that's the point my friend ;) I don't like just-like-in-the-record live performances. Lives, just like you said, are moments of emotion between the artist and his audience, that you can't find with just the albums. But I think bad technical performances because of drugs or whatever, spoil this emotion instead of adding to it :)
Actually I prefer their older performances (like this one) over the recent one's. Even though they might be fucked beyond senses, the raw energy they bring on stage is unparalleled. That's the spirit of rock IMO.
That's what makes live performances so gorgeous: It's NOT the same like on the CD, and it sounds adorable if Serj Tarkan sings the last refarin of "Chop Suey" alone :3
i don't agree, they could hire extra musicians to do the breaks that they can't do on stage, also, the Serj is singing in a completely different key, it is my opinion anyways, it doesn't mean that their albums aren't awesome!
I disagree also, a real musician will put their best effort live regardless of how long they've been playing, people pay for this shit. This just sucks... Jack White is certainly the best performer of the century. imo
Luis Trejo WTF r u saying NERD! I'd been chasing live band performance all my life, this is ART..Music ..Passion..THERE IS NO RULES! Just fuckin feel it \m/
Tina Magallon i know right? Art, MUSIC, passion... And also (refering to this vídeo) is being out of tune, singing the wrong notes, missing instruments, etc... You are right also with "no rules" but not up to the point where It is all noise...if you want to know what i meant on my last comment, please look for snarky puppy and dirtyloops (both have outstanding live performances) and you probably havent heard of them, please listen to them and compare, i am not saying that SOAD is bad, i am saying they could get better...
+sean creedon And because of the iPhones, no one would be crowdsurfing like many were doing in this video, because they would be too scared to lose their phones.
This is fucking perfect. The most perfect imperfection, this one always gives me the feels. I can't get enough of this piece in particular, + the full version of big day out, and live in Armenia 2015. It's fckn beautiful in the most chaotic way.
Damn Chop suey was an almost impossible song to perform well even when they were young. Considering the difficulty of it tho, I think they were doing pretty well
