More loudness, more fun! Gotta say those red lights really add to the overall atmosphere when those horns are sounding off. Reminds me that I gotta try and find an FCI MS2 for myself lol
Agreed! More loud is better! The red lights are very cool, happy I went with them, they really add to the alarmingness when they're going off xD The MS-2 is honestly a very nice pull, durable construction and high quality.
very cool!, i built a mini system of my own, its just an est genesis and a mirtone pull but it still looks cool mounted to a board, plus i can also mount exit signs on my board, will make a video on it soon!
@@theguradien I have a Genesis chime as well, I used it in a system test but I don't remember which one Lol Other than that I've just electronic horns with chime settings, nothing too exciting :P
@@FrostedStrobesif you ever get a genesis horn for a test, buy the signal master, and cut the jumper to make the horn sound in continuous. You can code the horn that way
Can you use the 7002T in system test 30? I really wanna see it return, my favorite alarm! And keep the 7001T in your room, so we will have 2 skippers on the system lol
It might be a little bit, it's hard to adjust on the relay though. At the very least, it fits with the aesthetic because my first panel had march time that was waaay too fast too LOL
What's the model number of the Wheelock fire alarm that looks like a 7001 but without the strobe? I've only seen that alarm in ONE RU-vid video, and that was a bell test on someone else's channel.
@@kansasclocksandsirens it definitely wasn't a 34T, because the one I'm describing was thinner than a 34T and looked like a 7001 with the strobe part cut off.
Try to find some NS4s. As long as the strobes have constant power, they’ll sound without delay. You could try modifying the ones you have to run the strobes separately but you’re better off waiting for NS4s to show up
Unfortunately that's much easier said than done these days. I look multiple times a day at the latest eBay listings for fire alarms and I have not seen an NS4 is a very long time (unless I missed a listing, it's been a couple years since I last saw one). I'll likely just keep saving until I can buy another newer 2-wire NS and hope it's the right one Lol All in all, I probably should've just bought a ZNS instead, might have had better luck with that.
@@FrostedStrobes they’re more common, they just go quickly. I’ve see about 10 or so go up for sale so far this year. I got 2 within the span of a month.

(Any time you want to) Quick question: On the 7001T, was it a 7001-24 when the horn on it was broken or was it the same 34T but a broken one?
Thank you! I hope one day I can acquire a number of the older, louder horns, the 4050s are cool, but a system of 4030s and adaptahorns would be sick for sure! Additionally, it was a 7001T, but the horn it came with was not working, that horn was replaced.
@@FrostedStrobes the 4030s are LOUD and they rumble the crap out of the wall or floor they are on. NewAgeServerAlarm moment with his 4050 and 4030 combo.
@@Alarmo05221 I had forgotten to mention it in this video, but the 9833 was vibrating the floor pretty harshly, honestly I was surprised by how much it did. I cannot imagine how much more a 4030 would be xD
@@FrostedStrobes I have a 450D C2 which has the same horn mechanism as the 6020, it is loud and you hear it everywhere throughout the house and it vibrates the garage ceiling which is just wow
Yes he did, because he unattached the part where the lights are placed and turned the horn over, and reattached the part where the lights are placed onto the horn again, so that's how he mounted it upside down, but it's lights are unstable. (I really think I guessed right) (12:53)

@@FireAlarmGuy-8090 Ideally before the end of the year, though System Test 30 is probably going to be a little bland, the original idea I had for it had to be postponed (probably to 31) because I had to buy parts.
