Hello Qi, My lectures take material from many sources, but a book on modeling and control that follows the theory pretty closely is System Dynamics by Ogata. If you are more interested in the different applications, I can refer you to some other references.
Hello, Professor Hill, I got the PDF version of System Dynamic by Ogata. Your series of video lecture are very useful. I was introduced to your channel by matlab. I was designing wind turbine and this structure is characterized by dynamic (vary in time and space). The method introduced are very important to use when you design a system in which you want to manipulate the dynamic in desire.

Good explanation thank you Rick! I would like to point out that it will be more interesting to group all the System Dynamics and Control lectures in one playlist. Thanks again
Sir, Where is Module 1? And where can I find previous examples where you were discussed in different control architectures as you said at the beginning of the clip? Btw It's very helpful to me. Thank a lot, Sir!
Rick firstly let me say thanck you very much for posting this videos. I do have troubles with your dropbox slides link (posted a couple weeks ago). Could i get the link to download the slides plis.
+Rick Hill thank you. I have two textbooks, one by Ogata and the other by Benjamin C Kuo, which one should I read along with your slides to get a comprehensive understanding of this topic
Mathew George Pretty much any controls textbook will work, though my slides are a little more focused on modeling than most controls textbooks. Depending on your edition of Ogata, it may follow pretty closely. The same author has a book called System Dynamics which is even a bit more suited to the material covered in my slides.
@@hillrickc Thank you very much for these lectures. Is it possible to get the slides? the dropbox content does not work or not active any more. Could you please share the slides again , it would be very helpful.
