SZD Junior: A short flight between the showers at Portmoak Airfield 

This is a short flight, in the Junior (FUS), between heavy showers in mid August at Portmoak Airfield - home of The Scottish Gliding Union. It was an unusual launch direction as the run was across the airfield, into wind, on a fairly short run. The lift on the hill was extremely strong in places, likely helped by thermal, and it was also relatively turbulent. I had to land ahead of a heavy shower.
