Dnd is a lot of fun. I recommend you search for a boardgame/tabletop or comic store and see if they have any dnd games that play there. They would likely have the necessary books to start so you don't really need anything to get started.

Lots of people do the same thing, on RU-vid snd other social media. If they include instrumental music as well as lyrics, they call it a "cover" song. If the original singers feel it violates their copyright, they can have RU-vid and other social media sites remove the song. However, those of us who love Malinda and her beautiful voice might rather hear HER version of the song, rather than the original. Maybe Malinda should get permission to record these songs on an album, not just sing them on social media.

The song is on Celtic Woman - Destiny. There is a live on stage version and a studio recorded - filmed video version. Both feature guest (German born) Oonahg.

The only info I have about that part is from a separate thread on the official video. Unfortunately, since some people tend to state opinions as facts, it is rather unclear what the lyrics mean or what language they are in. Based on that conversation, in summary, it's either something in one of two languages created by Tolkien, random Gaelic sounding words (which are sometimes used in folk songs) or complete gibberish. There is a lyricstranslate page for this song which only mentions Gaelic and the lyrics are translated, but I couldn't find any justification or source of the translation. Regardless, they do work quite well with the overall song, which is awesome.

If I'm not mistaken, Oonagh sings all of her songs in the Elvish language, which does come from Lord of the Rings.

Pagan is a Christian term used to insult non believers and today its used to describe any non mainstream religion celtic is also celtic is not a religion anymore and hasn't been since the slave trade. Celtic beliefs are actually Christian and no celtic church exists today that doesn't worship Christianity. It was more of a belief system of culture than a religion because they didn't worship anything just had the belief in many gods. Druid is not and has never been a religious belief, it was just a term similar to "tree hugger" as the original term for the word comes from gaelic "doire" that's the oldest finding on the word. There's the Roman version from the Latin word "druidēs" which was not even in the same region and only came after they romanized the uk. There's also the complete lie about whales making this religion up but Welsh historians adamantly deny this because it's only documentation was hundreds of years years after writing down history was popularized so there's no way to determine it existed before writing but *American* news websites keep trying to link it to be a real think on direct association with dnd because the headline is cool. Maybe you should do literally any research on a topic before complaining about it.

I'm disgusted you think this is better than Celtic women's when she's desicrated every song she's stolen from them so far. She gets the lyrics wrong and never translates because she's always too lazy to Google it, you're also not Irish if you don't live in Ireland or have had family there I'm sick of Americans pretending to be Irish just cuz somewhere down the line they are ethnically Irish. You know nothing of the culture and are insulting people who take a great deal of time into getting the songs historically accurate.

Her voice seems more suited to sing songs by Olivia Newton John. They share a similar light quality. Karen's voice was more compact or dense, more breathy.
