I think the whole point of the podcast is that they can discuss things honestly - it’s super relatable. If you recorded myself and my husband having an honest conversation about the kids homework - it would sound the same! Love the honesty and how I can relate to you both
A a bit of tension seems to be bubbling underneath, gradually getting a little worse each week.....3 weeks from now and Pete will be wearing that funny looking white lamp that sits on the side table.
Haha I didn’t see this cos I was thinking “says she holding on to that wine glass like Gollum “my precious” jokes. I love them both this podcast is incredible. I relate in most situations only Abby is so funny she shots him down like a pro. I get defensive and storm off - so I’m loving u Abby!

I actually think we are gonna end up breaking peter and abbey up with this podcast 😂 pete gets put in the dog house after every recording for sure, us men all understand your pain pete ahaha, great show as always guys, makes every Tuesday morning much better
Not all relationships are perfect 24/7 though, I think it’s good they can show a different side with eachother rather than portraying perfect every episode
@@jsg1499 fair enough but i gotta say these recent discussions about the kids homework/studying feel a bit different from their usual 'whines', abbey seems significantly more upset about it than the other issues.
@@verselinesnot at all. Plenty of parents out there who will care more about the homework then others and that’s okay. Both of them have valid points on it
@@jsg1499 I agree, in some ways its nice to see that even families in fortunate positions such as themselves have the same arguments and issues that us working class families have, I enjoy their discussions on these topics
I cry laughing every time I watch these two!! They have so much likeability! We met them both a few times in Dubai...and they've both been delightful and kind. This is the funniest podcast ever.....and being a Dad of 4 and still with my gorgeous cheeky wife....I live in Petes life...every day!

I hope this podcast isn’t starting to cause a toll on the relationship. The recent episodes, this one especially seems to be a bit off. Can feel the atmosphere through the screen! Lots of snappy comments throughout. I usually love the podcast but found this one to be a bit of an uneasy watch 🫣

Used to feel so safe out in the world wearing Half socks 😂 now all of a sudden i can’t ever look at them 🤣 the worst thing is i came on pete’s pod !! MET you both, am 80% i may have gone half sock that day and fee like you definitely noticed 🤣🤣 although i’m ok with that and find it quite funny i just can’t wear them EVER again 😂
Noooo you can’t pretend it’s not his birthday! I would feel sick with guilt. You could’ve had presents and cake on the day and then the party at a convenient time. Also Pete needs to help with the homework more and Abby maybe chill a bit, the kids memories of childhood will be you getting angry with them. Learning should be fun, otherwise they will hate education. If they don’t do the homework then they will be disciplined at school and then they won’t want to do that again!! My son frantically gets his homework finished because if they don’t do it they miss lunch playtime at school, so that’s a good motivation for him. Basically I’m saying he’s not wanting to do his homework because I’m nagging him, he’s doing it because of consequences at school. Let them learn the hard way. Obviously reading and little ones is different but the older two can do it independently!! If they make loads of mistakes don’t worry because the teacher will see they tried and know which areas they need help in in class. Just my thoughts and experience with kids aged 20, 16, 11
Why pick fault there has worked for sixteen years you can’t teach your grandma to suck eggs. They know their weaknesses and strengths they are airing their differences I’m 72 and my children are 42 and 55 I would not presume to tell someone how to bring up their children you don’t know them children are all different. My thoughts are they are good parents and all the best to them.
@@jangray2756 I’m not telling them how to raise their children. Pete and abbey always disagree on homework, so it was just a thought and a tip from my experience. I also think they are amazing parents and not picking fault. They just don’t agree with each other on this subject, so tried to help x
Love this podcast. You have a beautiful relationship. Can I ask you to rearrange Abby's microphone angle? It hides too much of your face. Just drop it down to the same level as Pete's.
Veronica I think they are those tiny sports socks which finish at the ankle they are the pain of my life I’m continually losing my sons they are so small and I am partially sighted.
@@jangray2756 thanks, Jan! That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure why Abbey finds them so horrible! My husband wears those and I think they look alright, and much better than over the ankle or calf socks! But each to their own.
Feel sorry for the Guy who shit himself whilst out with his Partner. I mean what is he supposed to do, Just approach his partner and say "Hold my drink please, while i go for a shit".. we know that wont work unless he looks like Leonardo Dicaprio!!!!. just love this podcast. of course everyones relationships have up and downs but you both seem to know most of the time a giggle is better than an argument. except on the homework part of this podcast. i think you are truly in the Sh*t Pete!
