This T-18 transmission from this 1966 Ford F20 300 had never been worked on. The gaskets and seals needed to be replaced. I had no idea what it would look like after 50 years of use. Also I took apart my top cover and cleaned and greased everything with new springs caps and all small parts kit.

I did a E4OD to T-18 swap, my uncle owns a shop and gave me every single part for $250 from a low mile wreck I mean every single piece it took to do a full factory look swap. the shield the inner and outer boots every bolt nut and trans cover I cut the hole with a grinder disc and drilled and bolted the tunnel in looked factory all the way made a HUGE difference in how the rig pulled it felt bogged out in every gear with the auto now it pulls like a mad man I also did a locker in the rear as well it is a 2 wheel drive.

Hi there, 1958 AMC Rambler Super (pt.21) here, I noticed a small spot of yellow paint on the (first?) Biggest gear, I also have small spots of yellow paint here and there on my clutch pressure plate and friction disc and also on the front of the transmission gear box, I didn't think there would be those same marks INSIDE the transmission, is this to give assemblers some kind of clue as to how to what order it gets assembled?
