i think focusing on the more “less-known” history tank’s can be very interesting! specially considering how the more “known” tanks have been covered SO many times (im looking at you, germany) so great video!
Great video and good points about trying to identify the T-54/55 due to all the variants with things removed and other system bolted or welded on. Trying to identify it properly at any distance would be hard in a battle. That is why height/width profile and getting a view of the chasey are because they are permeate and mostly unchangeable. If you are lucky the tank commanders hatch is up and it has its 12.7mm machine gun mounted which can be seen at distance. Lot of good well researched information and info I did not know. In out motor pool we had a T-54 hull, gutted without a turret and none of us could figure out why it was there. Its front plate had a bore sample of the armor which was painted red.
