Fair point, but that's not the only reason, military force of most country's is often based on giography (physical and geopolitical conditions), Russia is the largest country on earth that shears borders with more country's than any other, so mobility is just as important as armor and firepower. Most of today's latest western tanks will be greatly challenged by Russia's weather conditions and it's large territory ( I believe that already happened in the past)

У Российской танковой школы другая концепция и она весьма банальна (мосты), на марше танков если его вес составляет более 45 тонн то мост не выдержит, плюс понтонные мосты максимум 50 тонн выдерживают, все российские танки это танки прорыва, а не обороны как западные.

Well, the T90ms and Armata are the only counterparts that the russians have against the western Tanks. The T90 is as sad as it is a little inferior to the western constructions ( Leopard 2a6/a7, M1a2 Abrams, Challenger 2, Leclerc, K2 Black Panther etc..) simply because of the armor, aim systems and overall technology built in the tanks. And even when the T-90 should be equal to western tanks, Russia has only somwhere around 300 of them. The T-90ms isn't even in production and on the Armata i'm not sure even when it's in production they are only counterparts, they aren't superior to western tanks. I think at the moment the russian tanks are in a massive disadvantage.
