The EMD GP8 starter kits recently came back into stock, so I ordered the Green set with the smaller oval. It's unfortunately coming over to the States from Scotland, so I've been patiently waiting for it to arrive. Here's to hoping TGauge can set up a North American distributor like they've been wanting soon.
They have a us site, but I don't know if it means they have inventory in US. You also have VCS Hobbies in US that distributes T Gauge products. www.tgauge.us www.vcshobbies.com/product-category/t-gauge-model-trains/
@@skylinejunction Didn't know about VCS, but I did order the set through the US site. They were saying that, due to the lock down, they weren't able to set up local distribution and all US orders would still have to come out of the UK. I just checked VCS and Tgauge turns out to be cheaper by around $60 USD for the same kit. So I'm not as disappointed that I have to wait. :)
Beautiful reproduction I got to say.. on viewing the locomotive the blue painted lineddetails are not sharp at all. It's like a terrible paint job.. I can't tell if the coaches look the same but. It being so small it probably does not matter
@@skylinejunction In built myself a model of the Clayton diesel locomotive. ir uns with a 12 carriage train, (brass etched carriages), and I have 5 powered units in it. Now that looks really cool. Something that long can't be done in 00/HO or G. I am in the process of building a French SNCF TGV train which will have 15 carriages and 4 power cars. Oh, by the way, I also open my carriages and insert little people in them, as well as having drivers in all the vehicles on the layout, including in the houses and shops. Costs more but nice to know I have a live layout.
