Thnak you, I would never have forced the battery out without seeing that is what had to be done. I got a replacement battery, for a Rvvl5, from Amazon $21.99, came with the tools to take apart. Thanks again.
They are available but if you install a battery it won't charge my had fou new batteries no battery works gain the cell phone guy said by another phone
My fingerprint sensor came unplugged while doing this procedure (as well as the case shattering due to how strong the glue is). I can hide the cracks with a phone case protector, but how do I reconnect the fingerprint sensor (part to the left at 0:50) ?
If the plug isn't broken it should snap into place. It's so tiny that it's difficult to get into position. Use a magnifying glass or a lupe to watch it while your putting it in to place.
@@davidgpo I think the plug was broken but I was able to pressure fit it into place. Will have to keep an eye on how long the finger sensor works for now.
