As a sheltered and cowardly big city girl, I will never cease to appreciate these people, brave enough to teach the rest of us about the wonders of nature. going on expeditions like this sounds like a dream but I nearly had a heart attack when I came within ten feet of a common garden snake. During the seventies, one of my uncles was involved in researching gators and their mating to regain the endangered population. I loved his stories, and wanted so badly to see him work sometime. How cool it would have been if they had done shows like this back then They had to euthanize one once, and his team was allowed portions of the meat. He brought it to grandma’s thanksgiving gathering. There was only enough for everyone to have one bite. I knew I had to be one of the coolest kids in the world having an uncle like him. Getting a bite of gator seemed fair, because a couple of years before, a gator got a bite of me. 😳

Your chances of survival would be a lot higher then you think. Alligators actually have a rather mild temperament and are very less likely to attack then you’d think. Now if it was Crocodiles, then yeah. Good luck.

Almost tormenting them with pleasure, knowing that they can out wait the animal in the tree no matter what the circumstance.
