I think the crash bars saved them as it gave the bike a little more ground clearance.

I think its was a combination of tyre and going slightly off line and hit the small loose stones!

@@nderezic We don;t have helmet comms and he thought I got held up behind the 4x4s. We have also got trail mirrors which don't give a great view, especially when stood up. All good though!

My riding buddy and I had a similar problem, although he came back for me ... good thing he did because I dropped the bike on steep incline with loose gravel and would have had tough time picking it up all by myself. Thank you for your answers and a interested video 👍

@@nderezic Good decision getting comms. We will think about it, but we have managed ok so far!

I don't have enough brain cells left to do that again!
