genuine question: is that lip jump even a real issue? shouldn't you just let people have the mouth that they do and not make them feel like it has to be posed/retouched? also insulting and making a joke out of her natural smile felt very out of line. if that was me, i would leave that session feeling crushed

It's prevalent in a lot of people but isn't readily detectable in their day to day lives. Still images are a different story that's all. I'm not a fan of it taking any attention away from their face in the shot.
