Aww the editor didn't include the post game stat & interview where Rekkles got the POG. 0/1/13 Janna --> with 100% Kill Participation, average 400+ dmg per min, Total damage 16k as Janna (Smash at 18k)
@@SamBsound Both, Rekkles speaking so much despite being the only european player in a Korean league. And Targamas saying nothing in a full English speaking team
U can say about Smash what u want, I think he has the potential to be an incredible good ADC. He has the balls to run them down and limit test, that's how world-class ADCs play, and I think that's also why rekkles swapped the role. He was playing ADC the old way, safe and consistent, But you need balls to go for the outplay. Give him 2 years and he shines.
yall dont seem to understand how well supports have to play for these adcs to "run it down" and "limit test". guma and smash both have world class supports with them and unless they are ahead in gold, or the supports are enchanters, such plays are impossible for adc without actually running it down
@@cookiedookie4207 The supports do make or break a lot of it, but you can't overlook the balls and skill it takes to do what guma and smash are doing. Keria and rekkles are goated sups tho, they aren't pussies and have just as much balls as their ad
smash is actually a fucking adc psychopath. i love how aggressive he is lol, and he seems to really trust in rekless a lot of times. they have a good duo going.
Yeah that's what i noticed. The way he just stood there as varus and tanked the mao ult... Like "it's cool Dal i'll show you what your job was " - tanks that shit like a boss simultaneously HARD baiting the enemy to collapse on him as janna pushes them back and he just destroys the fight! That was a crazy trust play and the fact that they played it perfectly means that 90% of the time, it's just Rekkles and Smash vs the world.... Dal and Guwon just kind of watch and throw a skillshot or die before the fight begins.
It just shows how much esport personality like Faker, Rekkles, Uzi, also Perkz back in the day impact so much of the viewership. It's so much different with how dota esport is running. I was playing lol back in 2012 for 2 years, and then moving to dota until today. But personally I always enjoyed lol pro scene than dota every year 😂
Rekkles has to learn how to play engage supports if he wants to be a proper support. He can't just play Enchanters or Senna all the time!! You can't be proper support without having any melee support as an option.
Poby really went from a low tier Mid in LCK CL to the worst mid of LCK to one of the best mids of LCK CL. The T1 stand were they only lost really helped him personally i feel like. he learned alot
@@PeoplePleaser578He literally almost inted the game away this series on g3. Randomly walking into a bush and dying for free as tristana. Imo, his issue that we saw in t1 main team didn’t really fixed. He still get get caught out often mid to late game.
I like him and at times he can look fantastic (games where he has destroyed with Neeko), but far too often hes rushing in. In fairness though he is a kid so it'll take time for him to build that sense of danger.
Smash has the aggression level required to be a top ADC, he just needs to learn how to pull back. That's a lot easier to learn than learning aggression. Give him some time and he could be a top performer I think.
Yeah right now he is flashing for pure aggression instead of actual outplay. If we get him to use his aggression in a good way I think we are watching another Jackeylove/Elk type of adc in the making.
I watched all their 5 series and tbh the problem was never Rekkles. I will sound a bit delusional but imo he's already better than most of the support in the LEC right now.
by watching the games u know that their topside is really weak, guwon and dal are problematic, poby positioning on TF is horrendous. how can they lose a teamfight with so much lead,
You are right, Botlame isn't the issue. Rekkles definitely hasn't been the issue. He's actually done a lot to try to cover the gap with his experience.
Honestly this is not delusional I am almost certain he is a top 3 support if he goes back to LEC(which probably wouldn't happen cos he will be looking to play in LCK).
I haven't played league in probably 3 years and haven't watch a series in 4/5, and you probably couldn't pay me to watch a worlds game yet somehow I'm sat here hyped up watching Rekkles play in LCK academy? This is some next level stuff haha, what a move by T1. Ofc Caedrel keeping things entertaining with the commentary is key too. The ints at that level are also quite entertaining.
@@jakobreich9476alright, alright, alright relax. This is still just the academy league. They're not even the best bot lane in T1, but I agree that they're cracked and I love seeing Rekkles succeeding.
@@Ruintheusbro lmao that guy isnt even just overly excited that is just straight up delusion to say smash rekless is top 5 botlanes in the world lmaooo
@@matteorubini6539 Trust my words bro :) Better than any LEC/LCS Bot lane showed us this year. I think they can become top5 if they continue like this. And i am smoking Marbolo Gold, you need some?
If Poby has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Poby has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Poby has only one fan then that is me. If Poby has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Poby, then I am against the world.
U give a lot of credit to the guy who fed in almost every game when he stood in for faker. Give him another 2 years before getting so optimistic over 1 good series.
Here i thought gumayusi is aggresive enough but smash god damn. Playing most fragile champ with a heart of tank. He has a potential to be future T1 adc if guma moves out.
I have never fallen for it ever for anyone but something about this particular instance instilled a primal fear inside of me that I hope I will never feel again and can go back to never subscribing
In the last game on Janna Rekkles had 100% KP and he won player of the game, also if you watch the Korean LCK CL broadcast there is an interview with Rekkles and Smash after the game. Most of the interview is translated.
Touched a very important topic. Riot always nerfs to oblivion or delete whatever they deemed not “the correct way to play”. Would’ve been cool they balanced it and let new ideas in LoL brew.
Rek and smash: won standard meta lane won omegacook lane (top jung inted) lost game won varus janna lane Rekkles as supp Perma force to ban senna ashe as blue side Performs well on engage support top tier positioning as a enchanter support i mean he cant play lck in T1 bcs keria is there but maybe he could in an other team when he gets fluid as a korean speaker
Its funny how t1 academy is always average or bad but their senior team is always in the top of esport scene and their academy players turn mostly into great players
as a support main, i would love a situation where supports are no longer second-class citizens. double support item? fine, good start. let us share *all* of the farm with the adcs. could allow for so many more viable combos, a whole new world opens up for the game.
Yeah riot making sure double support item wouldn't work is understandable as if 2 could work why not 5 problem but honestly making it so that support and adc could both buy support items is actually good for support in the whole. It gives them much more agency and leads to more creative drafting and comp. I hope riot revisits the double support item idea.
If I'm correct in my prediction, T1 decided to raise Rekkles to take Keria's supp role if Keria has to step up and sub for Faker in mid from another injury. Faker isn't just getting older, the goat becomes more prone to injury with age and Keria is mechanically good enough to match Faker. As Sup Keria's macro is increasingly proficient
