@@user-ed8vn4kc1w also means, he knows he is the weaker one and plays as such. Rest of them Azirs' played horrible. Just look at scouts azir in the first game
its prob more of like the meta especially on bot lane is good for t1 because of generalized picks and with keria and guma playing together for a certain time they kind of know how to play around different matchups. Hopefully they don't over do it and burn the kitchen while cooking drafts xdd.
Bot lane doesn’t have anything OP aside from Xayah/Rakan. That specific combo is good blind and doesn’t really have a counter that will make them hard lose lane or is an answer in the mid/late game. With that in mind, they’ll counter pick their lane or pick a good lane blind into their opponent knowing they won’t pick those counters. Like in game 3, they pick Renata Varus, knowing that Hang isn’t a ranged support player aside from enchanters.
If i were JDG i would legit terrified imo, a team that almost beat you on LPL finals and contested you in a close 2-1 on swiss stage got ran over like that no mercy
he's like that one LS prediction meme during 2018 but the best part of watching Caedrel is he's a degenerate not a schizo like LS, making him both infomative and entertaining at the same time
call me crazy i dont care, but its really suspicious one of the best 3 players of the tournament like scout, suddenly plays even worse than wildcard midlaner. I wouldnt find crazy Riot forcing a redemption arc for korea and specially T1, like T1 against china to make branding and a goodfeel arc for koreans
@@raynier3327I think zeus just can’t play normal bruiser aatrox. Even recently, when he tried it he wasn’t looking too hot. But lethality aatrox…. Idk what it is but he’s cooking on it
@@harveyboi3917 It's an assassin in disguise looking for flanking opportunity. Actually quite smart tbh, Zeus isn't quite good on tank and playmaking duty so might as well not make him do that. Oner is more than apt for the work, just let Zeus cook
Riot probably letting out a sigh of relief after this. Its insane that the viewership will plummet if T1 got knocked out. This quarterfinals alone peaked 3 mil views.
where do you get the numbers from? I also doubt Riot cares because probably viewerships on chinese platforms alone is probably much higher than these western platforms. Though i am unsure if huya numbers are trustworthy when they had like an lpl event with 80mil viewers it seems sus but not totally unreal i mean china has like 20% world population and they welcome e sports culture much more than na or eu.
I was honestly expecting this series to be REALLY hard fought, regardless of who would've ended up winning. But I mean the fact that T1 pretty much stomped them (2nd best team in the LPL btw) three times in a row for a quick 3-0, the fact that they ALWAYS did it on red side!... Man, soooo excited for JDG vs T1, genuinely thinking T1 can beat JDG, what a banger of a series that's gonna be🤩
T1 in Swiss: we have no pressure this worlds and it really helped us play the game we want DK: no chance GenG: we outty KT: yeah, you on your own bruv T1: 😶
T1 before final is just a different team, but remember last year they lost against arguably one of the worst world champions in the history. Won’t surprise if they lost to BLG/WBG this year
T1 is just the better version in this Worlds 2023. It's not Faker solo carrying the team. The whole team makes very few mistakes. Each member gives their 100%.
On the plane back to China, Scout took a deep breath “I am sorry I underperformed” “It’s ok, it happens” responded Zika, “everyone made some mistakes today” Suddenly, Tarzan received a notification on his phone. “That’s weird, how did I get a message in the sky?” tarzaned wondered as he opened the message that titles “IMPORTANT”. Opening the file, Tarzan’s face turned from excitement to confusion to disappointment. “I’m exempted from military service” said Tarzan with a bittersweet face. “Is it cause u ran it down against t1?” asks gala half-jokingly, still mad at his teammates for their performance. “Nah… “ says Tarzan, not sure if he should continues “it says ‘we do not want a liability in our military, someone that chokes every time it matters’” Disappointed, Tarzan waited for the plane to land, not knowing if he will still have his Chinese work visa…
Red side used as it was meant to be. Counter picks used in the best of its capabilities. It’s so nice to see a team actually using the red side to this extent. Realising that the bot lane has so many options and there isn’t much OP af aside from Xayah/Rakan. Win lane, win game.
@@Dhiya87 if Ruler werent in JDG i would say T1 can beat them easy but Ruler is a problem, he can play Xayah, Aphelios, Zeri, Kaisa at good lvls and you cant ban all of that i wonder how T1 will counter him, Koreans ADCs are in other level compared to CN ones in pool champs.
@@kaifairtex9157 no way you think LCK fans are worst than LPL fans, LPL fans literally will included LPL team for no reason and brag they are the best region cuz 1 team from LPL is dominating
It's crazy coming back to this and realizing Caedrel was 100% right about ranged supports becoming the new meta 14:22. He was right there with T1 ahead of the curve. What an amazing run from T1.
@@DJRenzorDidn't think I'd see Faker lift the Summoner's Cup again. Not after 2019 vs G2, he was hands diffed by Perkz but 4 years later Faker is at the peak Gapping the best LPL mids. That's why he's the GOAT
It's official.. Zeus is the best Jayce of all time.. he picks it even when it's not meta.. he picks it even when he loses lane as long as the team draft plays well with it.. he picks it even when he is weak side.. and he still carries with it.!! I will never forget how Zeus went 0-5 on Jayce and still does the most damage for the team and winning..
Yea he's op. Been gapping these laners that are supposedly than him. He did lose lane to bin with gragas but it didn't matter in the end, was more useful mid game.
khan taught zeus how he plays jayce while they're together for asian games bro xD if you search for pictures of them you'll see they're always together
@@endefisto123 I mean T1 has yet to drop a single game to the LPL this tournament...2-0 vs BLG, 3-0 vs LNG...this is the same LNG that gave JDG their toughest matches to date...JDG went 5 games in summer finals vs LNG and during worlds they went 2-1 and now T1 straight adopts LNG in a very convincing 3-0 stomp...The numbers speak for themselves and theres a reason why T1 fans are confident...

Yeah I'd never seen anything of Caedrel before this year's worlds, but the guys is insanely intelligent when it comes to analyzing comps, picks, strats and gamestats. His game IQ is through the roof and really interesting to watch.
@@EverTM Same, Never really was keen on the earlier matches for worlds but discovered Pedro and love the way he analyzes and predict draft picks. Very informative. Plus he's a frickin degen, funny af.
@EverTM you missed the greatest Caedrel moment then...watch worlds finals last year he casted it with kobe and cpt flowers and it was without a shadow of a doubt the greatest finals league has ever had to this day
This is the T1 we like to see. Crazy drafts, crazy diverse champ pool. They're looking good, hope this form keeps up against the rest of the LPL teams. We at least want bangers.
T1 were always the true LCK #1 Seeds for me. This is perfect representation of top Korean play. ALL OF THEM played IMMACULATELY, and against LNG. Don't try to downplay it by calling it "wintrading" or "paypal". If that is the case how about the turret that did not shoot for 5 WHOLE seconds at GALA? Lemme guess, Paypal did that?
im sure it was T1 playing well that caused Tarzan to play like his namesake. dont get me wrong, T1 were great, but when people talk about "paypal", its referring to the mistakes made by the other team, and LNG definitely had a lot of those.
Well, this comment is completely made on hindsight. T1 looked shaky all year long, faker got injured and they got swiped by geng even with him because meta was not favorable at all and Oner was playing horribly alongside bad drafts. T1 played this match how they had to play it, but there's no need to do anything outside of the standard when the enemy mid/jg are running it, did they play good? yes, but it's easier to play good when mistakes are being made even without you doing anything special.
@@Nicolas-wl3qm Comment made on hindsight, but I believed in them since 2017 even during their lowest, I dont bounce teams around like most of the community. I Agree with the first half about being shaky, but dont you fking dare discredit their peak performance in that game. They DID play special, ZEUS GAP, ONER GAP, FAKER GAP, GUMA GAP, KERIA GAP. ALL star performance, stop with the clowning cope and deal with it. This team may be known for T2 choking finals but they almost ALWAYS make it to finals, no other team has this much.
@@rxyl1220 I think that's unfair to scout and tarzan since neither Zika or Hang played that well either. The only one that played well was GALA but that's more of a comparison to the rest of the team
@@JustAViewerL not really, scout and tarzan are supposed to play a lot better than this. Hang and Zika are rookies that first time playing in worlds, so thats kinda understandable.

WHAT A MASTERCLASS FOR T1’S BOTLANE! DISPLAYING DIFFERENT FORMS ALL THROUGHOUT THE SERIES. LNG UNFORTUNATELY COULD NOT ADAPT. I HOPE THEY CONTINUE THE MOMENTUM. MY HOPIUM IS TOO MUCH, I FEAR JDG
Fear not brother. They wouldve beaten JDG at MSI if it werent for Naut mid being high on their prio. God is with Gumayusi and by that T1 as a whole. They are going to beat JDG and either BLG or Weiboin grands. This team can win the tournament.
Yeah i liked that keria and guma didn't spam broken and meta champions like other teams did. They have huge champion pulls and all have descent levels at it.
@@cheekybreeky3775 i will admit rn im a casual upfront, but i feel like that's the narrative i always hear around t1 coming into every worlds, and yet they almost always still end up top 4, if not finals or champions lmao. i definitely suspect t1 is always leaving their best cards and just overall best gameplay to play at worlds, and especially at the end of worlds, since even tho im a casual even i know that they're essentially the greatest overall LoL team/franchise of all time starring the goat faker and as such they always play with a huge spotlight and consequently huge target on their backs...
This Lng roster this year hasnt been humiliated this badly even once before. I'm not sure how T1 all of a sudden are completely dismantling elite teams like Blg and Lng, both teams that have beaten Kt and Gen g handily, but this is the most impressed I think i have ever been in a team's performance.
true. no matter how well they performed this year at LPL and even Scout was a 2 time MVP... this quarterfinals 2023 will live in LPL fans' mind for a long time. RIP Tarzan's career
It's the pressure, man. We are as a viewer only saw 1% of what player might feel on stage. That's why GenG play like that in game 1-2. Your whole year are compressing into one match. You make a simple mistake you normally won't make.
what's wrong with your LPL fans? LPL has never won any single match with T1 for 10 years over World Stage. WTF are u guys smoking? Chinese players just bad, they couldnt do shit while facing T1 and now blame on Korean Imports, how ridiculous
I understand him though if you know bliz timing you will realize you need to do something or you auto lose plus that pressure maybe he does expect zeus to be their alone
Oh man, I rooted for T1 but I expected this to be hardly fought. They made it too easy, somehow, this gave me hope that they have a considerable chance to upset JDG super team.
@@ziyou2063 Missing cant match keria though? especially on range supports which is now coming into worlds meta. They cant let senna/rumble/cait/ashe/renata/xayah through vs t1 either. Its going to be harder for jdg than they would like lets be honest. T1 just dismantled JDGS biggest threat this year, 3-0, with three red side wins, do you realise how good that is?
I only see a chance for the kt match , they revealed some weak point that we didn't see before...Ruler is too good , but his support isn't as good as him , the third game were Ruler agains Kt
I think a big reason why Faker has came into such form this tournament was because he was absent during summer. Imagine being constantly under a microscope and being seen as the weak link on a team of superstars. Only for your absence to leave them ruined, to come back and lead them to the finals. That must’ve been the biggest confidence boost for faker in years and I think it’s why he seems as confident as his younger self
If T1 had lost today, viewer count would have dropped by 50% or something... All LPL semifinals without the most popular team in LoL History would have been the pinnacle of garbage! Lets say thanks to T1 for keeping the tournament interesting!
The entire community. It's crazy the amount of people hating on T1/Faker despite the fact this esport wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn't for Faker
@@MrDespisedIcon tbh no one should be hating on anyone. All players that made it to quarterfinals are the top in the world. When i see comments like faker is old and chovy is choky, like bruh stfu plz. T1 didnt win any games against GenG, but T1 beat every LPL team, its crazy how situational the matchups are.

This makes being T1 fan through all the rough times over the past year feel all the more worth it. They are looking so juiced, every player - insane confidence, off-meta picks, Faker just pratically taunting Scout while he sidesteps on Sylas. Can't wait to watch the next series.

Well, BDS was known for playing outside of the box and they won during Play-Ins. Moreover, the reason NRG won into Quarter-Finals was because they out-drafted G2 with Senna/Kench, proving that meta is only so deep.

Yeah, T1 couldn't choke this time or they would not be able to leave the venue safely. But historically speaking, they always reach semis in their every worlds appearance, regardless of their opponent unlike a certain team.

the thing about those Blitz hooks is that Hang was timing it well because he hooked in between Aatrox Q. At 10:56 Hang knocked and pulled Aatrox from a distance after Aatroz Q1, and the thing is at that distance where Hang pulled from was out of Aatrox Q2 range so it made sense to pull. BUT, Zeus predicted the pulls, so he premptively pressed Q2. Same thing at 11:46 but Q3.
