At 14:00 Humanoid is up over 40+ cs and two kills and two levels. Yet, in every team fight, Humanoid somehow dies first and Faker continues to offer way more impact with ults and positioning. Incredible how useless he was considering the lead that was gifted to him from their jungle. Also, Guma/Keria and Zeus completely outplayed their counterpart. Yummi was not banned btw lol.

Wow Faker absorbed so much pressure, Lord Zeus is dominating top side and every fight even 1vs4. Guma& Keria is calm and collected kills. Only Oner who got quite greedy I think but other than that T1 is definitely smashing

You really see the quality of Faker in this game. Most midlaners would be useless if they got that behind, but you really see how Faker finds a way to make his champion useful despite the amount pressure that Razrok placed on him.

Funny how these casters giving Humanoid so much credit in early game well in fact it was Poppy who carried them in early to mid games. You can even see it from the mid to late, Akali is up 40 cs with 1 kill and yet she cant do anything. Mind you, Faker also didnt do well in his lane. But we all know this is not all about laning. It's about converting leads to other sides of the map.

Humanoid was doing so well until he decided to go in on Faker 2v1 after Faker and Oner had both been ulted away by Poppy. SKT had some great plays after that, but IMO that was really the turning point of the game. After that Humanoid went from possibly carrying the game to being the first one dead in every fight. Also, it's funny because I watch Faker streams and he constantly gets targeted in his public games because everyone wants to say they killed Faker but he's so use to it by now that even when he's far behind he still finds a way to stay relevant and help his team win. Lastly, I love the casters for this game, what a great and energetic cast.

So when Humanoid was dominating with Azir on the first half of groups, T1 banned it. When Yuumi has been dominating the entire tournament in terms of damage percent and win rate, Fnc left it open. Absolutely disrespectful draft. Fnc deserved to lose. Not only that, but Faker was humble enough to give up waves to snowball his Sivir/Yuumi. T1 played as a team to their correct wincon.

Well, the strategy for any team looking ahead of the Group Stage is to identify the S-tier champions and show that they have counters to at least some of them, so that they don't have to keep banning them. This game was FNC claiming that they can answer Yuumi with Lucian Nami and failing miserably.

T1 had 3 lines - frontline engage, midline back-up, and a single rear-guard. FNC takes shots at the T1 engage but they are already retreating after engaging, then the midline steps up as a wall to allow the engage to escape (and get their cooldowns back), then the midline retreats after taking hits (and to get their cooldowns back), while the fresh rear-guard steps up (for disengage or to cover the retreat); repeat the rotation to keep the cooldowns up. FNC kept falling for the bait and unloaded their cooldowns piecemeal, never doing enough to finish a champion, or getting pulled into the team if they try to finish one, or unloading too much on the engage (to guarantee the kill) and having nothing left for far too long. Clever rotation schedule and use of champions by T1! 👍
