for those wondering about oner, he's most likely ill, faker said they were all feeling unwell today so it probably hit oner the worst. oner *was* there in the viewing booth at lol park though, and faker said he was ready to sub back in if necessary, so whatever is going on, it's bad but not too bad. t1 on twitter said he's back next week.
Also Kkoma likes to give rookies a chance if they have the moment, no need to force oner to play against bro when you can give your academy jungler a chance
Keria looked at Guwon and said, "Let me show you how we play in the big leagues", before eating him and dragging him back into the team fight with low hp.
at least Keria gives him shield so he can reset...most of the time T1 just throws Oner into the blender and they ACE the enemy while Oner is dead. LMFAO
@@ShakerT1 it's clearly a joke. You are the superstitious one if you take "mind control" seriously. Touch grass and get a life instead of being an internet troll hating people who don't know anything about you.
Never forget that Faker made sure Wolf (yes the SKT Wolf) won his LCK debut as a jungle. Babysitting a jungle main from the challengers series is prolly an easier job.
after reviwing faker, man, he plays mid so much diffrent then other players, he setup mid, save tp for plays on sidelane, and internoally lose lane to setup stuff, a real midlaner in my eyes
Faker just showed me how to guarantee wins with an autofilled jg: literally just roam to every single gank the jg goes to and guarantee it works. Thats what he did this game. Wherever Guwon went Faker followed, and in order to do that you need to win lane so you can keep the push and roam. Thank you Faker!
But u need to consider the champions too, like taliyah can push quite fast while azir is weak early game, also with taliyah passive he can roam faster, maybe it was all in his calculation because faker rarely played taliyah when oner was there
@@Discotechque remember the faker bengi worlds days? mister game 5 merchant comes to save the day with the UNBEATABLE synergy between mid and jungle that not even botlanes like imp and mata could compare. man, these dudes are crazy
crazy how you need in game coach in pro play to perform the way you should by yourself...guwon is shit and he proves it when hes on his own without others babysitting him
@@stx6671 its the same shit for T1's whole team what. They were all so lost when Faker wasnt managing. Every team needs a leader/shotcaller so they can be functional
@@stx6671 Teams with rookies or FNGs needs multiple shotcallers, preferably vets that can do that for them. Look what happened last year when Faker was injured, T1 looked uncoordinated and poor during that stretch where he was out, with him back he turn that team into Worlds Champ. It’s about having a presence in your team that can take the pressure off them Rooks and new guys and controlling them to not fucking int or be too aggressive, hone their strengths and learn new things (preferably expand their champ pool) that is why T1 is successful and T1 Academy has been failing and struggling to copy that since they don’t have a second guy like Reckless (Dal and Guwon need a mid that can control them badly)
@@stx6671 you just made clear that you don't know what you are talking about, every game needs an (IGL) in game leader or manager whatever you call it, specifically to what you said, so all the team can be in the same page and prevent errors, look at what happened to T1 when faker was not there, they crumbled
Everyone knows by now, that Faker plays in such a weird and unique way, where he always tabs between different teammate perspectives while he's wave clearing or in teamfights. He probably keeps looking at where Guwon is and guides him on what to do in teamfight. That being said, props to Guwon for playing well, the pressure to perform in the main T1 roster might have made him crumble, but he did well.
in T1 vs DK match that rat could survival after 2v1 and killed Aiming but then he decided to walk forward and missed q and got killed by kingen lmao. truly the shy moment at worlds final
Faker: Oner plays the role of initiating and doing the dirty work for the team, so I was really worried. Make sense if ZFGK could do the dirty work and babysit Guwon, they sure can win against 2-9 team.
oner, sitting in the viewing booth, watching his team babysit guwon: ???? was this team so nice to junglers before??? like bot duo were everywhere guwon was, zeus didn’t take a single jungle camp from guwon (only opposing camps), faker surely micromanaging everything…and then you have T1 throwing oner into every fight without mercy 😂 CL privilege
This game shows to you the difference between Faker subbing out and the others subbing out. People saying Faker should retire because he's getting carried were silenced last summer, but this just seals it.
This doesnt make sense, the Faker haters said T1 would also suck if any other role got subbed in with an academy player. Huh? Alnost as if it really was just Faker's influence being that important and the haters were just coping. 🤔
Faker leads them and make it easier, they just need to perform "well " ( mechanic/ combo / execution .) . Ofc they all communicate and sometimes others make few calls but major/ important ones faker does mostly.
Tbh Keria make most of fighting shotcall , its faker who hold these young talent to stick in plan not to go wild , we already watch so many of their comms and keria was more actively shotcalling in teamfight but there is no doubt that they just 4 super talented soloq player without faker , faker keep them on track like we see so many times he told zeus and keria to keep patience , well if your captain was 4 times world champion i guess there is only small room for a debate
I have been T1 fan since Faker debuted and MonteCristo did his train bit but you can't possibly be sincere in what you are saying when they are playing against BRO. Put Guwon against a top tier team and let's see how they do.
Poby situation was a bit unlucky. Keria and Zeus was underperforming so bad back then. Oner doing slightly better, but still not in his top form. Only Guma was stable in all those matches. The problem started before Faker took a break tho, Zeus and Keria already spiraling down slowly and Faker's absence just make it worse. Otherwise, even with an academy player, 4 top tier players won't lose to the last place team easily.
they did. Swapping mid vs swapping jg is not a comparison. Even Broxah (former pro jungler of FNatic) says that jg is the easiest role in pro play. Mid is the hardest and most important role. You cant really blame T1. Missing your oldest, most experienced, and most important role player is nothing like missing a jungler. Oner is fucking insane and we can see that with how different Guwon is to Oner's impact (literally carried a game 4/0 when all lanes were losing) but missing him just has very little impact. Esp in comparison to mid.
I don't know what happened to faker but he's really so good this spring season, his laning phase, his roaming or the way he's everywhere, his shot-calling and even his CS and he's even on top of POG standing along side with chovy. Like I don't know what's into him but he's so good this season or is it the meta and his teammates as well?
mids in general are carrying in this meta in the lck apparently because top of the pog standings are all mids, so faker is obviously in the mix because he's the goat. but also, he's definitely hit a new prime. and his teammates are goated too, their synergy has gotten to a point where he doesn't have to control them as much as he did in the past so he's been freed up to dominate his lane.
@@forg_tful. oh yeah I forgot about that one, all of mid laners are on top of POG standings lmao so yeah I can confirm now this meta was all about mid lane comp meta + faker is faker he;s the goat!!
@@hAxZa100zofgk is the best roster i've personally ever seen. their play style synergy, decision-making and everything in between in game and outside of it is just incredible even outside of the time they've played together. i hope they have some more years as a roster in them.
People keep bringing up Rekkles as a sub and forget that communication is KEY. The sub needs to be able and willing to listen to Faker. How many re-iterations of SKT/T1 have we seen until ZOFGK? If Rekkles cannot communicate well, then it wouldn't work.
im not sayin i want keria to get sick, because im not saying that. But.....IF he happened to get sick, how cool would it be to see rekkles playing with faker?!
Reckless is watching this game saying to himself there is a chance. If Reckless plays with faker he would never let it go. and would bring it up any chance he gets. But playing with faker can cast a big shadow over the player.
After watching this game I actually thought how close we got to main t1 reckless, as much as I love keria I just want to see one official game with faker and a westerner on the same team
Kind of a blessing for Guwon. He performs well, and now anyone doubting his potential in T1A has less of an argument. Did he get micromanaged by Faker? Prob but if he has the mechanical skill, maybe he can learn more game sense
@@andreasmastorakis9184 Where's the lie though? An academy player joins the main roster and doesn't int the hell out of the two games he's played into the ground. Sure he wasn't like a star player, but I think "doing great so far" is a good way to summarize it, especially considering his performance on T1A hasn't been stellar. I know if I was subbed in on Faker's team I'd be nervous as shit, even if I had a pro player's mechanics.
@@iexistiguess1920he did fine, not great, maybe good. Great would be him almost or somewhat filling oner’s shoes. He didn’t int sure but he also didn’t do any proactive plays to showcase what he’s really capable of if placed with the best players in the world. Did a good job with listening to the more experienced players but saying that was great is a little bit of an overstatement when he could’ve probably done more.
I think Guwon is a really good player with just experienced leadership. he plays well with academy just with a less experience leader. I think he has a bright future.
