That's crazy an exhaust makes that much difference with a supercharger. When stock the exhausts are just for soundtrack. I'm considering a trip to LHT this year for a supercharger myself. I have a hard time imagining what an extra 150 hp does for this car. lol Must be amazing!

Aw yeah son! So glad u got supercharged AND u went from the restrictive Mugen to the more free flowing T1R! What a difference in power and torque huh? Car sounds amazing too bro ❤️

Yeaaaaaah buddy! It helps sooooo much! It's crazy tho, my buddy and I went for a rip the other night...it sounds A LOT like a 13B at certain RPM's!

@@jpetro no doubt that exhaust would help. U need that flow 😉 Sounds like a fun rip! I'd have expected 400 wheel from your setup though? Tuned on Haltech?

@@RolanTHUNDER Yup! Tuned on Haltech! So I was in the same boat. I actually reached out to LHT to see. They said AP1's or more specifically, F20's have a harder time hitting the 400 WHP mark. Although it seems like every KW SC video they do, they pump out 400 WHP, lol but I think most of those are F22's. Either way, I was in the same boat. After speaking with them, the WHP / WTQ range I'm in sounds about "right" and feels good enough for me!....for now, lol.

@@jpetro ah well LHT... Forget what they said about AP1's not usually making 400 wheel easily lol. There are many examples of them on pump gas and AEM Series 2 ECU in particular that reach or exceed that mark 😊😉 Hopefully I'll hit that mark when i install my Vortech blower in a few months. First, i want to get my AP1 tuned on AEM in NA form then I'll go boosted. Send AP1 Chief a message on Facebook or S2KI just to ask if he can look at your tune. I'm positive he can get u more power! But if you're happy (and you do sound that way) then leave her as is👌👍 Another thing to note is single exit exhausts net more power from supercharged builds compared to duals but its fine to stay dual. P.S. My AP1 with a 1" drop and 15mm spacers up front had a lot of rubbing with the right side fender only. Does yours rub anywhere?

@@RolanTHUNDER Keep me posted on how you progress! Are you on IG? I'm @JordanPetrovich_ if you are. I want to keep up with your build! I don't know exactly how much I'm dropped but I have 20MM spacers...I believe, lol (it's been a while) and about as aggressive camber as I can get. I really only rub on the front passenger. But, I have some suspension goodies on order to hopefully solve that issue.

Mannn, he sure is! Yeah, the exhaust really opened it up for sure. It's funny though, I was just talking to a buddy about this. It sounds EXACTLY like a rotary now, lol!

I've been following your thread on adding the Mugen exhaust and now the Sparrow. I'm about to add SoS turbo kit to my AP1 and was going to either stay with stock exhaust and CAT or go stock CAT and Mugen. My goal is to keep the sound as stock as possible. If that is the compromise, 350 HP and the added torque is more than enough. After reading your thread and the SoS review I am tempted to go with a Berk HFC and the Sparrow. It's been a year - are you happy with the Sparrow exhaust? Again, I honestly would give up the 50 HP if it meant a more livable day-to-day driver without the drone at cruising speeds.

Yo! Man, we’re similar for sure. Haha. Unfortunately, I sold this car a few mo’s after finishing it. With that being said, the sparrow was the absolute best in terms of compromise between power and sound. I really loved the Mugen, but it really really constricted air flow. I wouldn’t hesitate to go for the sparrow. Ps, the guy I sold it to went to a single exit and said he regretted it. He said he wished he would have kept the sparrow. 👍

350 seems a little low, are you on the smaller Kraftwerks blower?

Yup, smaller blower and AP1. I actually spoke to LHT quite a bit about this. They said it's really hard to hit 400 WHP with an AP1 and Kraftwerks. I'm sure a single 3" exhaust would have definitely helped quite a bit but 350 WHP was more than enough for my needs.
