T3: Archie Comics figures by Marx, 1975 

70's Archie were my favorite... The colors in the comic were so vibrant, and the fashions were incredible..

I remember watching the Archie's Comedy Hour and U.S. of Archie shows as a kid. I never saw the dolls, but had the Mego Star Trek figures I bought at Thifty's in SoCal. I remember going to Ben Franklin's when on road trips since there were none near me, they had a killer toy aisle. Great video.

You are so lucky to have these Archie dolls. I remember getting my Archie doll back in the day at Woolworth's! Anybody member Woolworth from back in the day? That was where I got mine from. So glad to see I am not the only Archie fan out there!

Your collection is amazing! I'm a huge Archie fan so I really appreciate seeing this. I sold collectibles on eBay around the time you got these, and I'm kicking myself for not buying items like these. I do have a vintage set of glasses in their original box, but my collection is mainly comics and dolls. My best doll is a Bubblecut redhead I found at a yard sale in a vintage case with clothes and accessories for $2.00. My fave item is a comic with a personal note signed by John L. Goldwater (Archie comics creator). A work friend said he saw him every year because they vacationed at the same hotel in Florida, and the comic has water damage because he got him to sign it for me while he was in the pool! 🤣

Your enthusiasm for these dolls is wonderful to see. Holy Grail items are so much fun to finally get and cherish. I watched the Archie cartoons in the 60's and will forever associate the song "Sugar Sugar" with them because of it. Want to feel instantly good? Just look up the beginning of that 60's Archie's series and listen to the theme song here on RU-vid. So sweet! I read the comic books in the 70's, but I don't have any of the dolls. Did you know that the Effanbee company put out some large dolls of The Archie's in I believe it was around 2001. They're pretty good too but a bit pricey. Thanks for sharing these fun dolls and memories.

The Veronica doll looks like a Jackie Burkhart doll from that 70s show

I'm a great toy enthusiast and love seeing old dolls like this in great condition. We tend to think good merchandise is a recent thing, but these are just lovely. Might get back into Archie after all these years. Great vid. 😁

I can TOTALLY relate to this entire video an your never ending quest for these figures because I had to wait since 1979 to get the KISS MEGO dolls in the year 2012 when Toy Figures Company re released them. I had to wait 3 decades to obtain these childhood toys. My mom just couldn't afford them and I was too little to understand that. They are extra special to me now because of the memory.

I love Archie Comics..I have a'decent collection myself. I grew up in the 70s but have many Archie comics from the 40s thru 80s.

Awesome video-----I had the Jughead doll and wanted the others but never saw them anywhere as a kid....a family friend known for "bargain" shopping had given me Jughead for Christmas. I think people younger than you and I don't realize how life was before the internet.....if a toy wasn't at your local store, or available through Sears catalog for Christmas, you were probably just out of luck.

I love Marx toys, I have fond memories of the Best of the West collection (I had inherited a second hand set as a child. I never saw the Archie collection--good on you to do the research and find them!

The girls don't have eyebrows lol...I think they are 9" tall,they are the same body mold as the sunshine family dolls. "I think lol"

Archie and Jughead look great, but Betty and Veronica got jipped. XD The look exactly the same and the molds just look like knockoff dollar store barbies.
