I recorded this one because Nige and I did a lovely T2 cabinet conversion about 18-months ago and I always regretted not capturing it on camera. There are probably many examples of appliances being binned for something new where a bit of lateral thinking can give it an extended lifespan.

The way you berate your staff is first class, the comparison between Linda's camera abilities and Nigel's was beautifully designed to make her try harder. The braying to Damo was only let down by the lack of a comment like "the child support agency are after him".

Kind of hard to see how the cabinet is made I think I would've taken the unit out and mounted the strip on the side so it's reflecting and not direct into the diffuser. Then you would get at least some of the originals reflections effect. I'm only at 5:00 so I'm curious what they end up with.

i have a question, about type 2 SPD, what happens if i connect it to the neutral bus bar instead of the earth? doesn't it still protect from transient high voltage?

Probably. Especially in a TNC-S arrangement as neutral and earth are connected together at the head anyway. But, why would you connect it to neutral?

Welcome back Mr S, it has been such a long time but I am glad to see you around again. Nice bit of sideways thinking with the LED strip, and one of those moments to have a bit of packing oneself on the back for a job well done, and saving the customer a load of cash. Nice to see you enjoy the French Riviera though looking at the expression on the bespectacled lady in the black and floral dress walking behind you in a few scenes made me chuckle. Looking at you and her watch as if to say "Will you turn that sodding thing off and talk to me?" It wasn't too bad. My massive balls have such a wide surface area that it actually made the shock sensation quite pleasant. I insisted on a second zapping but had to wait a while for the guy to charge his taser back up.

Back c1989 I turned short-sighted and had to start wearing NHS glasses in my final year of school which, not that it was really needed, fired the final "loser" torpedo into my (already spectacularly) low chances of ever getting off with either class-whore Kiola "four fingers" Powers, or class tit-shelf Donna McMahon. In 2000, I paid £500 for laser surgery to get shot of that nuisance and 20-20 vision did me well... until (ironically) 2020 when old age made me suddenly long-sighted. I *hate* being long-sighted. I'd prefer it the other way around - I need to see up-close, whereas wearing glasses for driving or such wouldn't be so much of an issue.

@@dsesuk You're lucky, I've got a hole right in the middle of the retina in my left eye, which is a bit like looking through a net curtain. On the plus side, the other eye has compensated and is now better than 20/20 according to the consultant at the hospital eye clinic.
