Yesss! The mighty C4! Time and time again people will look in my Mustang and say "Oh automatic, don't you want a stick shift?" I try to tell them that if you want consistency and no wasted time with your car rocking back n forth like an old horse and buggy you want an automatic. Plus the C4 is a great little transmission that can stand up to serious power if need be. Nice work!
Im a new subscriber, and mustang owner/enthusiast. I seen a comment by you on Brew2ls you tube ch., and that's how i found you. I have had my Aode in my 302cu. In. sn95 mustang Gt, totally rebuilt, + had the mech. Diode done, + bought a brand new tq. convert, @ the time of the rebuild, + a mild shift kit, + 4.10 gears, and only a few years later, its starting to fail again😒😢! We were driving this daily, and put approx. 10k per year on it, so trans has less than 50k. I dont wanna put another $2,500 into this Aode, to fail again. So since we dont drive this daily anymore, im willing to give up overdrive, for more perf. Will my 302cu. In. sn95 fit a C6, or a C4 better, if a C6 fits its stronger right? But what about prices vs parts availability aswell? Also is it poss. To street drive with a trans brake? Im thinking about going with a 12 to 1 compression 347 stroker, Tfs box R Intake, with 90mm throttle body, Longtubes, Tfs 205cc 11r heads, (with cometic head gaskets, and head studs), Tfs stage 4 or 5 roller cam. There is a mustang specialist tuner near me, that can tune, and bump my rev. Limiter to 7k! For this combo, would you build a C4, or C6?
Personally I'd Probably go with the c4 they can with stand whatever power level you want to build it for, that sounds like a simple set up, but I will say this a c4 and 410 gears that car will be screaming, if your driving around town i think it'll be just fine and yea I'm sure you would be fine with a trans brake driving around, I actually am looking into installing one myself, but hope this helps!!
Sup bro , I’m a new subscriber and I looked up videos on swapping from manual to auto and your car got my attention! I have a 93 all white summer edition and I don’t want the T5 can you tell me what trans exactly and what was done to it cause your car hauls ass 😂
@@Ny_Foxbody93 is TCI product good? I've been hearing mixed reviews. Some say they're great 👍 that they've had them for 1, 2, 3 years or for like 10 yrs. & Never had a problem. Others say it wasn't 🚫 their cup of Tea...☕🍵
@@awee5816 It's my first converter from them, I hear some things too that they don't stall out as much as they say they do, so we'll see I might just buy a different converter eventually
@Ny_Foxbody93 thanks! I'm from Brazil, and I get a Ford Landau 1983. It comes with the C4 transmission and idlike to swap for the t5. Thanks very much.
