That meter was a very nice find, great quality item for its time. I always appreciate a neat and attractive front panel on bench test equipment! This week I found a EZ (formerly Goldstar) bench multimeter DMM-441B, I really love the front panel buttons and yellow LED display.

What a really nice vintage digital multimeter Tony. The colour scheme on the buttons would make it very quick to drive by colour association. There is a lot of positives in having a manual ranging multimeter which is evident in this case as it clearly speeds the readings up. The barograph being extremely responsive also. With the accuracy that was delivered after your recalibration it could easily be used as the main bench meter for todays hobbyist. A very engaging and enjoyable video Tony. Thanks

This is really a remarkable meter. Quite a few of them were labelled for Xerox also, their part number 600T1616.

What a nice meter, Tony. It would be perfect for field use, accurate enough for most needs, nice long leads for large control cabinets and a loud beeper for noisy environments, all at a time when digital handheld multimeters where not common. Great to see it cleaned up and adjusted. Regards, David

I picked up a Fluke 8030A at a hamfest. It is very similar but a little smaller. It comes with a leather case for portability. Display is good but I haven't tested the functions yet. My first Fluke!

Fantastic, I was waiting for this video. The 467 is one of my favorite daily drivers, fast and reliable. A fine piece of equipment from the 80s.

Hi Tony nice video 🙂 A nice multimeter disguised as a desktop measuring device 🤔This is not "United colors of Beneton"😂 It is great that the Bargraph is controlled independently, to some extent it replaces the analog display of the needle, it is useless for measuring devices where it is controlled with a display. Nice day 🙂 Tom
@jspencerg
@jspencerg 10 месяцев назад
That's not a bargraph, it's a digilog😮
@TonyAlbus
@TonyAlbus 10 месяцев назад
Thanks Tom! Yes very colorful i like it. Yes this is how a bargraph/Digalog should work, with a faster sample then the digits, only then it makes sense to have one.

These were used by the US military, and were in a small case with the leads, a 10 A current shunt, and a HV probe. You could measure up to 5 KV with the probe.

@TonyAlbus
@TonyAlbus 10 месяцев назад
Just kitchen cleaner.. the white stuff. it comes in powder or cream.. its soft sanding and sometimes even with bleach, use it a brush with care, . but it works.

Hey Tony!
@TonyAlbus

Thanks Marcel, de pijltjes zijn :Absolute Value Pulse Detectors in de 200K stand en daar onder: ^OpenCircuit/Continuity_v , geen idee wat het eerste is, maar veel truken in dit doosje.
