i don’t draw him that differently! the thing is that he didn't like, look completely different or anything, he just looked “normal”, as griffin/lydia put it? i just figured that average imperfections would show up a little better, like being visibly tired or hurt. also, i tend to draw some of his freckles as being kind of sparkly pre-wonderland, so those get dimmer post-wonderland, as well as him having less saturated colors in general, but its kinda tough to show either of those with black and white.

Oh okay, i do love his design and i think that the lack of change was a bit comedic as well as canon and overall great work

He was hiding his current appearance with the `disguise self` spell, a earlier (i forget where in the series) he gave up a portion of his beauty to like, save the world. He dropped it to see if anything was going to change once that portion was gone and he was more `plain`.

@@teagangard2128 it was after wonderland! His giving up his beauty was one of the final sacrifices they needed to be able to leave with the animus bell. I'm a big fan of the headcanon that edward and lydia just warped his perception of his appearance, it makes sense to me, seeing as how they feed off of suffering

Katzblager his beauty was taken away in the wonder,and ark and he looked average which in taakos turns he is still way beyond the cream of the crop he just has more imperfections like blemishes and sunken eyes from stress and not a like a model on some vogue magazine
