In this video I'm doing a Target haul and taste test of the TAB Tabitha Brown Collection at Target. I'm trying vegan burgers, sauces, popcorn and more and rating each item on a scale from one to ten. I'd love to hear which items are your favorites too, so please comment below and let me know what you think 😊
Vegan lip balm/gloss I'm wearing: go.magik.ly/ml/1qafs/
Cashew Sauce for Ravioli:
⅔ cup raw cashews
1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
½ tsp garlic granules
1 tsp onion granules
½ tsp dried sage
½ tsp kosher salt, I use Morton's
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp light miso paste, I use chickpea miso
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup vegan parmesan cheese such as VioLife, plus more for serving
Soak the cashews in boiling water for 30 minutes. Then drain the water from the cashews and add them to a blender along with the almond milk, and the remaining sauce ingredients, and blend until the sauce is silky smooth.
Transfer the sauce to a large pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the cooked Sweet Pea + Basil ravioli and simmer until warmed through. About 2-3 minutes.
Add lemon zest and freshly cracked black pepper on top and serve warm :)

Tried the butternut squash soup last night. Quite good. The section at Target was completely picked over and that’s all that was left. I’m not mad though, because that means more people are trying plant based which makes me happy. Can’t wait to try more of the products you mentioned here.

I sent my sister into a local Target in our area. They were sold out of everything except the nuts. She said a member of the staff said whenever Tabitha Brown's items come in they put them out , they sell instantly. Love what you said it was very positive, I hope you and I get a chance to try many of her other products.

I was able to try the Barbecue seasoned patties..... AAAAAAMAAAZING! I am really trying and excited about vegan cuisine and was so shocked at the flavors!!! The consistency was perfect!!!! I grilled some purple onions 🧅 and mushrooms 🍄 to top the patty, warmed the buns in vegan 🌱 butter 🧈, I spread Trader Joe's garlic 🧄 spread on one of the buns, and spread bbq sauce on the other one. I can NOT wait to make this for my family and friends I truly believe they won't even notice it is plant 🌱 based Again it was AMAZING! DELICIOUS!

I’m so proud of Tabitha brown too! I’ve only been able to try her popcorn, the purple bag and it’s so good!! It’s sold out here in Hawaii 😭 I hope it comes back and also hope everything is going to stay available at Target. Or at least I hope all other grocery stores will carry her products. I’m eating the sweet and salty popcorn as I watch this 💗🍿 Delish! I am too in love with the vibrant packaging! My Target was pretty much sold out of everything. I agree with the pickle popcorn. It was good but but Trader Joe’s ruined all other pickle popcorn for me lol. Glad I skipped the basil and pea ravioli, I love basil but hate peas. I’m making the garlic burgers tonight. Everything else I’ve tried is delicious!!!! I know this is supposed to be a limited time thing but I really hope they keep these products! Thanks for the burger tips! I had the same problem with the potato salad! Mine were all really puffed up so the lid would not stay on. I got the butternut squash soup I’m excited to try!

I got the garlic burgers, I’m so excited for those! I would have been scared to try them if not for you, because burgers can be so hit or miss! I got each of the popcorns, and my dog likes the Parmesan one so much that she barks at the shelf it’s on when she wants some 😂 Also picked up the strawberry cream cheese and the mushroom sausage and raviolis. Never would have dreamed of so many options in my early vegan days, so cool!

Of course I really enjoy your content and channel!! I went to my local target but unfortunately most of everything was sold out :( . But I am glad that people supported the line so it was bittersweet. All that was left was the chili and the pasta so I purchased those. The chili was pretty good! I was thinking about trying it with some tortillas chips next time. And I haven’t tried the pasta yet but I’m excited!

I take one of TB's burger patties and fork mash it with a drained can of Vegall and form into finger shaped patties and saute. Then I serve them in lettuce cups.

I’ve now had the garlic parm popcorn, sweet and salty popcorn, and salt and vinegar cashews. I’ve had the regular potato salad, and I’m not really a huge potato salad person but it was delicious(I ate it with baked beans, MorningStar farms nuggets... and felt like a 5 year old😅). Somehow the potato salad reminded me of chickpea tuna? 🤔 I have purchased the pizza ravioli and the sweet pea and basil ravioli, but I can’t eat it until the weekend when I make it with my siblings. I did get a couple of packages of beyond meat to make a spaghetti sauce for it. I think that some type of creamy sauce would be better for sweet pea and basil ravioli, or maybe a pesto? I don’t know. I need to work it out by Saturday.😂

Depending on the coating of the frying pan, it's best to heat it and then add the oil. Some non-stick surfaces expand when heating and heating with the oil from cold allows the oil to permeate the surface and reduce the life of the coating. Heat first, oil second. :)

Thanks for the review. I was placing an online Target order last night and this was the first time I saw TB and didn't try anything. I almost got the Sweet and salty popcorn but higher than another brand I love and 5oz vs 8oz. The plant based burgers look good.

They were tasty! I'm excited to try the BBQ burgers and also the sausages at some point too. They were all sold out so maybe next time. Which brand of sweet and salty popcorn do you like? I think my all time favorite might be the organic simple truth version...it's very sweet and very salty which I love. It's got great flavor and I also like the angie's bom chica pop or whatever it's called lol This one from tab is also good but a little more subtle and balanced. I ate the whole bag already though so I think that speaks for itself lol

Thanks Leslie and yeah totally, I think the more accessible and integrated plant-based alternatives become the better 🙌 Even if people don't want to go fully vegan, having plant-based meals even just a few times a week will make a difference for the animals and for the planet and that makes me happy 😊 😊

Don't like the potato salad at all....and yes the packaging was horrible. Popcorn was phenomenal. So light and not salty at all. Ravioli was ok. TJ's is a lot better. Trying the cilantro sauce today in my burrito bowl. Shopping bag is soooo awesome! Thanks for your feedback.
