Can you shed some light on how can I follow a tabla players underlying speed? what to watch for, the right hand in your case when you played Na in single double and triple and quadruple in a daya/dahina drum?

Would very much love to have a go at playing the Tabla...considering, it’s my most favourable instrument along with the Sitar. I listen to a lot of Indian music....i can relate to all kinds! Bollywood, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Devotional ( Bhai Joginder Singh Ji Riar ) being my most favourite singing artist for Devotional. I’ll have to have a look and see how much they cost...and where to buy? Have you ever come across any woman....expertly playing this great instrument? Actually, I’ve just looked at 1 brilliant Girlie Tabla player on RU-vid; in the name of Reshma Pandit. I do have that talent to learn to play the Tabla; it’s just a shame that i don’t have the opportunity?
