Looks very interesting. Going to check this game. I also would be interested in similar concept game for Modern era jet fighters. To start maneuvering on longer distances to shake off the incoming Radar Guided Air-to-Air missile and then closing for IR and Guns.
The original idea was go modern, but WWII makes sure the game mechanics are solid before dealing with guided missiles and EW. A modern version is expected eventually.
@@GymbalLock plenty! The rules are quite extensive now, so you could do videos on bombing runs, on torpedo attacks, ground attack runs etc. You could even do scenario set ups, like a Battle of Britain, or Coral Sea or even a fighter escort mission, leading the bombers in over Germany (Tuskagee Airmen style) The overall list of videos that you could do is massive... Even breakdowns of each of your aircraft packs with comparisons to other allied and enemy planes... It would be fascinating, and really build up a community for the rules
Hi Gymball lock, I am confused on how energy works. In the rules it says each plane can have up to 4 energy. But the BF-109E only has 2 green lights. Does the 2 green lights represent the max energy the BF-109E can have? Does this mean the BF-109E can not do a wing over which requires 3 energy. Thank you in advance
Yes, the Bf-109E (and a lot of early war planes) have only 2 energy. The Spitfire and Hurricane have only 1. Mid-war planes have three, while late-war birds like the P-51 have 4.
Hey there, I have just picked up TAC and am a big fan in my test games. I was wondering what size playing area I should use if it is not already defined in the scenario? thank you.
Sweet! First question then; define 'modern'. Sabres and -15s? Phantoms and Farmers? Vipers and Fulcrums? Second; What would you think of someone like me porting some or all of this game's content to Tabletop Simulator? Just publish the base game, spitty mk2 and blank bases for larger aircraft?
