@@joeyralston3773 It's still clickbait. Which is frustrating. Not to be mean or rude, but when creators rely solely on clickbait it shows they have no creativity or actual content. They rely solely on the misleading title/thumbtail. I stopped watching this guy almost completely now. I can't trust anything he posts online anymore.
@@Michael-l7u2m totally agree. Like you’re giving the creators the respect of clicking on their video in the first place, you’re already interested in their content. But they feed you lies to dangle metaphorical keys in front of you, as if you wouldn’t watch if they were honest. It’s insulting.
There's a catch. It's a streamed, high-rolling cash game. So it's a bit of a different beast. Hustler isn't interested in those who aren't doing such sub-optimal things. They want insanity and canage. Nitting up or even playing reasonable isn't going to keep you in the game. As in, try and do it even once and it will immediately earn you an uninvite.
This is the type of crap that happens to me. A bad player is playing bad for whatever reason, but also for whatever reason they get rewarded for their bad play. I never blame the player though, they can play however they want and they will lose in the long run. But it’s still frustrating.
Same here, getting bad beat and losing your stack or a significant portion of it. The issue that gets me is that at some point I end up not playing to my bankroll. I play perfectly on all streets and then they hit the djinn card and I bust out, without the bankroll to support it smh
The thing is, you do NOT know if said bad player will lose in the long run because you just admitted the game is about luck. One person may hit the lottery several times while others will never win at all. The same goes with gambling- you either have the luck or you dont. It isnt a constant thing.
@@id10t98 Yes I do, actually. If a bad player continues to play badly, over time they will lose more often than they win. Poker isn’t just strictly based on luck, which is why the successful players, aka the good players, all win in the long run.
It’s because he’s shocked that’s Brandon Adams a top player and he doesn’t ever play like that he literally pushed all in two times with the worst hand and hit gin he’s more embarrassed then anything because that’s not poker especially at that level he was quite because he knows he got lucky and that’s it no skill involved just straight up flipping no shame in that and when alcohol is involved but saying he was drinking but that definitely is a whole different factor lol keep grinding my friends
@@id10t98 Well, for one, if you watch these guys (like Airball, Professor, Texas Mike …) and think “I can apply this to my local 1-3, 2-5 games” then, before long, you can kiss your bankroll good bye. I’ve seen a couple of guys done this at my local poker rooms and, turned out, they were big Hustler’s fans.
@@id10t98if that’s your definition of playing good poker you probably are not very good. playing bad poker sometimes wins money and playing good poker sometimes loses money.
Not really, I think he put the Professor on a J like QJ, KJ and he put the Texas Mike on a draw like 9 10, he was trying to squeeze the Prof. whilst thinking he had Texas Mike beat in the BB he could be playing anything. He had an 8, so the chances of someone having J8 was not that great, and who plays J 4, so he played it like he had QQ, KK or AA . I mean, he was wrong, but you would be surprised how many times that would work if one guy had a draw and the other had QJ. He's was very aggressive, but not dumb.
Well, to his defense - he was so ready to re-buy. When you only have 15 - 20k left it makes sense. In my world that's like having $15 - $20 left and everyone else has a few hundred in front of them 😅
Bigger the stakes easier the game it’s always been like that I hate seeing guys buy in 15 times and blow 15k when u could just put the 15k in play at once and win some real money
Brandon's eyes, mannerisms and facial expressions seemed very different than normal in this game. I've noticed that in several clips of this stream. Makes me wonder if he wasn't on a mind-altering substance or if he'd been awake for far too long.

Been busted in Wichita for a public lewdness when he was caught cheating on his wife and screwing around with some gal outdoors. Also got busted running a big home game in Wichita and ratted out his co-conspirators and paid a 1 million dollar fine to avoid jail time. Other than that, a really stand up guy.

My favorite part of poker is when someone makes a play that could make sense, but doesn't, because of what the other players are holding. Like the player picks the absolute worst time to do something.
Look guys when you have 89s you block 25% of 910 combos for open Enders and gappers like J9 and then we cut J8 combos by 50% since there’s an 8 on the board and we even block Q9 gut shots, that along with the fact that we have mid pair so we could make trips a full house or even quads, the back doors to a straight are just an extra sweetner this was a very standard play you guys just need to learn modern poker theory good job Brandon 🎉
Looks like brandon is cheating! I mean in both cases he gets it all in clearly with someone else having a better hand and still gets there by a runner runner. This doesnt make any sense at all!
This is the scariest aspect of poker, and why I don’t play big stakes. You could be a 9 to 1 favourite ten hands in a row, but the 1 to 9 dog can win all 10, and crap like that happens too often for comfort. Can’t imagine what Brandon is thinking there. He knows his opponents have either J’s or an overpair, and that if he shoves it’s only an extra $4k for each to see the board. One of the most brainless plays I’ve seen.
Fish comes in with J-4 off in a high stakes gameand thinks he hit the jackpot on the flop with top and bottom pair..puts all of his chips in. Now the waiting list must be a few pages long when this donkey is gonna play
I agree , I just wished I had money like that so I could have a better bankroll and be more confident in my game when you get fishes getting lucky on you and bust your bankroll .

And this is why poker will always be profitable. So many people like this who have no idea what they are doing and have way to much money. I just really hope people understand this is not poker.

I do not have to be Doyle Brunson to know how poor this kind of play is. These streams are an entertainment product and this is not how real poker is played in any skilled capacity. Thinking that there is an argument for putting all of your money into a pot where there was a pot size bet and a massive over call with second pair and a backdoor draw is just lunacy. Generally speaking poker played on streams is meant to be an entertainment venture and the level of poker is extremely dumbed down. If you are a proponent of this type of play I surely hope you come around to my cardroom quite a bit I would love to sit with you. -)

Why don't they have a time clock? Also, I'm kind of shocked from Brandon's play because he is a good player in my opinion. First time I have seen him make such a bad play.
Like someone else already said, he may have just been bored and wanted out of there. Really the only thing he could be representing is a set and if you're even a half decent poker player, you'd still call that bluff.
